Abstract: An approach is disclosed for real-time object tracking. The approach involves, for example, using a first object tracking mechanism to detect and associate one or more objects from frame to frame of a video. The approach also involves initiating one or more second object tracking mechanisms to track the one or more objects detected by the first object tracking mechanism from frame to frame of the video in parallel with the first object tracking mechanism. The approach further involves using a tracking output of the one or more second object tracking mechanisms in place of the first object tracking mechanism for a frame of the video based on determining that first object tracking mechanism has missed a detection of the object in the frame of the video.

Abstract: The techniques described herein relate to computerized methods, systems and non-transitory computer-readable media for determining a plurality of regions of interest from an image of a scene for motion detection. The methods can include generating the regions of interest using image segmentation techniques and receiving user selection to designate one or more regions as motion detection zones. The methods can also automatically recommend motion detection zones. The methods can include subsequently capturing one or more images of a scene and performing motion detection in the one or more images of the scene using the designated motion detection zones.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and software of inspecting growth areas for plants. In one embodiment, an inspection system captures a plurality of digital images of the growth area from different angles in relation to the growth area, and processes the digital images to identify a boundary of the growth area in the digital images. The inspection system combines the digital images based on the boundary identified in the digital images to generate a composite image of the growth area, and performs image processing on the composite image to detect one or more deficient growth regions in the growth area. The inspection system highlights the deficient growth regions in the composite image, and displays the composite image with the deficient growth regions highlighted.
