    Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for identifying and characterizing radio transmissions for use with augmented reality (AR). Security personnel could wear discreet augmented reality sunglasses and chest-mounted flat (or patch) directional antennas to be alerted when specific radio frequency (RF) emitting devices enter the antenna's reception area. A user may also turn their body towards an individual person or place for the system to use the body orientation to do a directional signal analysis on the source of or potential threat in the field of view.
