Abstract: Disclosed is a wound dressing comprising: a backing layer; a wound contact layer having a first surface for directly contacting a wound bed and a second surface facing the backing layer; and, a perforated wound-site adhesive layer for adhering the wound dressing to a wound site and comprising a plurality of perforations, wherein the adhesive layer comprises a border region which surrounds the wound contact layer and wherein the perforations have a diameter between 1.6 mm and 2.7 mm.
