  • Patent number: 7355558
Abstract: The present invention relates to a chip antenna including first and second conductor patterns formed on upper and lower surfaces of a dielectric block in a width direction of the dielectric block. The chip antenna also includes conductive vertical-connecting parts formed in a vertical direction of the dielectric block to connect the first conductor patterns with the second conductor patterns to form a radiation line. The first and second conductor patterns comprise pairs of L-shaped and symmetrical L-shaped conductor patterns having bent parts overlapped in part with each other in a width direction and extended in a longitudinal direction of the dielectric block. Also, horizontal-connecting conductor patterns are formed in a width direction of the dielectric block.

  • Publication number: 20070164919
Abstract: Provided a wideband chip antenna in which the outer surface of a dielectric or magnetic body block is surrounded by a conductor. The wideband chip antenna comprises one or more slots or slits that are formed on the top surface of the wideband chip antenna and of which predetermined portions are opened; one or more slits that are formed on the bottom surface of the wideband chip antenna and of which predetermined portions are opened; and one or more windows that are formed on one or more side surfaces of the wideband chip antenna by opening predetermined portions thereof. The wideband chip antenna can simultaneously transmit and receive signals at various bands, and the size thereof can be reduced. Further, the resonance property of the antenna can be easily adjusted, and a wider bandwidth can be secured.

  • Publication number: 20070024609
Abstract: An apparatus and method of driving a plasma display panel for reducing power consumption is disclosed. In the apparatus, a sub-field mapping unit maps a data inputted from the exterior thereof onto a sub-field pattern stored in advance. An APL calculator calculates an APL corresponding to said data inputted from the exterior and generating an information about the number of sustaining pulses corresponding to the calculated APL. A load detector receives the mapped data from the sub-field mapping unit to generate a control signal in response to whether or not a data for each sub-field is supplied. A waveform generator controls a sustaining pulse applied to a panel in response to said information about the number of sustaining pulses and said control signal.

  • Patent number: 7116276
Abstract: The present invention relates to an ultra wideband internal antenna, which is provided in a mobile communication terminal to cut off frequencies in a certain frequency band while processing ultra wideband signals. The ultra wideband internal antenna includes a first radiation part, a second radiation part, a feeding part and a ground part. The first radiation part is made of a metal plate on a top surface of a dielectric substrate and is provided with at least one cut part, formed by cutting out a lower corner portion thereof, and an internal slot. The second radiation part is formed in the slot of the first radiation part while being connected to the first radiation part, the second radiation part being conductive. In this case, the first and second radiation parts form an ultra wide band due to electromagnetic coupling therebetween using individual currents flowing into the first and second radiation parts.

  • Patent number: 7042414
Abstract: The present invention relates to an ultra wideband (UWB) internal antenna. The ultra wideband internal antenna includes a first radiation part, a feeding line, a second radiation part, and a ground part. The first radiation part is formed on a top surface of a dielectric substrate and provided with an internal slot. The feeding line supplies a current to the first radiation part. The second radiation part is formed in the internal slot of the first radiation part on the top surface of the dielectric substrate, the second radiation part being conductive. The ground part grounds both the first and second radiation parts. The second radiation part determines an ultra wideband by mutual electromagnetic coupling with the first radiation part using a current element induced due to the current supplied to the first radiation part.

  • Patent number: 6980155
Abstract: A diversity antenna is provided inside a mobile communication terminal. A common ground element formed as a conductor having predetermined length grounds the antenna. A first radiating element radiates a vertically polarized wave of a predetermined band. One end of the first radiating element is vertically connected to one end of the commnon ground element and the other end of the first radiating element is open. A second radiating element radiates a horizontally polarized wave of the predetermined band. One end of the second radiating element is vertically connected to the other end of the common ground element and the other end of the second radiating element is open. First and second feeding elements feed electric current to the radiating elements.
