  • Patent number: 12659280
Abstract: A method, a network device, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are described in relation to an application differentiated-based L4S service. The service includes receiving feedback information from end devices associated with the application sessions pertaining to the same application and same network. The service further includes calculating a prospective data rate for each of the end devices based on a data rate adjustment value, a weighting value, and a current data rate. The service may further include applying each prospective data rate during each of the application sessions of a prospective time period. The service may include monitoring protocol delays and marking packets with congestion notification when the protocol delays do not satisfy a latency budget.

  • Patent number: 12490090
Abstract: A validation system includes a user equipment (UE) and a client server. The UE is configured to store a device identifier associated with the UE. In response to a first validation request triggered by an application program of the UE, the UE is configured to encrypt the device identifier to generate an ephemeral token having a token value that is representative of the device identifier, transmit the first validation request including the ephemeral token, receive a first validation response based on the first validation request, and provide the first validation response to the application program. The client server is configured to receive the first validation request, transmit a second validation request, including the ephemeral token, for validation of the ephemeral token, receive a second validation response based on the ephemeral token included in the second validation request, and generate the first validation response based on the second validation response.

  • Patent number: 12483978
Abstract: A network device requests, from a mobile network, a check of network slicing eligibility for a first session involving a first user, a first application, and a first application server. The network device receives, based on the check of network slicing eligibility, network slicing plan information associated with the first user and network slicing configuration information of the mobile network. The network device identifies a network slice identifier (ID) of a first network slice of the mobile network based on an identity of the first application, the network slicing plan information, and the network slicing configuration information; and sends a notification message, that includes the network slice ID, to the first application server for notifying the first application of the first network slice to use for the first session.

  • Publication number: 20240144355
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to selecting order checkout options. In particular, the methods and systems of the present disclosure may, responsive to receiving data describing a potential order for an online shopping concierge platform: generate, based at least in part on the data describing the potential order, a plurality of different and distinct checkout options for the potential order; determine, for each checkout option of the plurality of different and distinct checkout options and based at least in part on one or more machine learning (ML) models, a probability that a customer associated with the potential order will proceed with the potential order if presented with the checkout option; and select a subset of checkout options for presentation to the customer based on their respective determined probabilities that the customer will proceed with the potential order if presented with the subset of checkout options.

  • Publication number: 20240104458
Abstract: An online concierge system determines a quantity of a resource available in a timeslot to fulfill orders during the timeslot. The orders include immediate orders placed during the timeslot and scheduled orders that are scheduled for fulfillment during the timeslot. The online concierge system applies the quantity of the resource to a machine learning model to produce a predicted relationship between a value of a fulfillment metric and an allocation of the quantity of the resource reserved for immediate orders. The online concierge system determines, based on the predicted relationship, an expected optimal allocation of the quantity of the resource that maximizes the fulfillment metric. The online concierge system reserves the expected optimal allocation of the quantity of the resource for immediate orders.

  • Patent number: 8212576
Abstract: Method and apparatus for self-regulated burn-in of an integrated circuit (IC) is described. One embodiment of a method of burn-in for the IC includes: configuring programmable resources of the IC device based on a burn-in pattern to implement a load controller, the load controller having a plurality of heat core circuits. The load controller is initialized with a number of enabled heat core circuits of the plurality of heat core circuits. A junction temperature is measured in the IC device after a measurement period has elapsed. The junction temperature is compared with a set-point temperature. The number of the enabled heat core circuits is increased if the junction temperature is less than the set-point temperature, or the number of the enabled heat core circuits is decreased if the junction temperature is greater than the set-point temperature.
