  • Publication number: 20130324429
Abstract: The present invention relates to a biomarker for the identification of exposure to lower aliphatic saturated aldehydes by using micro RNA and a method for the identification of exposure to lower aliphatic saturated aldehydes using the same. In this invention, the micro RNA at least 1.5 fold up-regulated by exposure to lower aliphatic saturated aldehydes and the micro RNA up to 0.66 fold down-regulated by the same were selected. These two micro RNAs can be effectively used as the biomarker for the monitoring of lower aliphatic saturated aldehydes and for the risk assessment thereby and at the same time as a tool to investigate the mechanism of toxicity caused by such lower aliphatic saturated aldehydes.

  • Patent number: 7840702
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a network hard disk copy system for managing multiple clients. The system includes a main PC and sub PCs. The main PC generates a check parity signal, transmits it to sub PCs, receives response messages from the sub PCs, checks arrival times of the response messages, determines sub PCs which sent the response messages within a reference time to be those of a first group, copies data to the sub PCs of the first group, divides sub PCs which could not send the response messages within the reference time into groups, classifies sub PCs having faster response message arrival times as sub PCs of a higher group, generates and transmits global group information to sub PCs, and transmits group information output signals. The sub PCs extract their own group information from the global group information, and generate and output background images including the group information.

  • Patent number: 5442452
Abstract: A sound mode switching method for multichannel selection a video tape recorder uses a first step of making judgements on the selections of a multi-voice mode setting key and a main picture switching key, a second step for deciding the sound mode and for storing the sound mode data into a memory, a third step for making a judgement on the selection of a channel for the main picture and for outputting the selected multi-voice mode signals, and a fourth step for replacing the sub-picture. A device for multichannel selection comprises a microcomputer, a multi-voice mode selecting circuit, and a multi-voice module. According to the present invention, during a multichannel selection, independent sound signals can be outputted for the respective channels under a multi-voice mode and therefore, different sound signals can be displayed and enjoyed in a unique manner depending on the contents of the pictures for the respective channels.
