  • Patent number: 10352479
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a parallel cylinder-type check valve and, more particularly, to a parallel cylinder-type check valve in which two shock-absorbing dampers are connected in parallel to each other so as to absorb shock when a valve is closed, wherein the length of a rocker arm connected to any one shock-absorbing damper is adjusted to be longer according to the principle of a lever in order to provide a sufficient shock-absorbing effect. Also, the present invention relates to a parallel cylinder-type check valve, which is rapidly closed at a high speed at the time of the initial closing of the valve and is slowly closed at a low speed at the later closing of the valve by means of the parallel cylinder, thereby preventing noise and vibration, as well as preventing water hammer.

  • Publication number: 20180245582
Abstract: The present invention relates to a water piping system, and more particularly, to a water piping system configured to reduce slam and water hammer of a check valve through delay of backflow of fluid by ejecting water stored in a pressure tank to a fluid forward direction at a high pressure when a pump in the water pipe is suddenly stopped, and through inducement of complete closure of the check valve by reducing a pressure applied to the check valve.

  • Publication number: 20180142450
Abstract: Disclosed is a water piping system. More particularly, the present invention relates to a water piping system having a function to dampen the effects of water hammer and check valve slam at a sudden stoppage of a pump and relates to a tank connector therefor, in which the water piping system ejects a high pressure jet stream from a high pressure tank in the direction of a primary flow in a main pipeline, thereby deterring the backflow of pipeline water in the main pipeline and reducing the pressure of pipeline water against a check valve, which enables the check valve to be slowly closed.

  • Publication number: 20180142808
Abstract: The present invention relates to a water piping system. More particularly, it relates to a water piping system that can alleviate water hammer due to slamming of a check valve by reducing the pressure difference between the front end and the rear end of the check valve by supplying some of fluid at the rear side of the check valve to the front side of the check valve when a pump is stopped, and a method of controlling the water piping system. The present invention includes: a sub-pipe having both ends connected to a front side and a rear side of the check valve, respectively, and supplying some of fluid at the rear side of the check valve to the front side of the check valve to suppress negative pressure and low pressure that is generated at the front end of the check valve when the pump is stopped.

  • Publication number: 20180128412
Abstract: The present invention relates to a water piping system prevents degradation of water quality due to fluid remaining in a fuel tank for a long period of time and removes air and other impurities in a pressure tank and a pipe, and a method of controlling the same. The water piping system includes: a pump pressurizing fluid; a main pipe for delivering the fluid pressurized by the pump; a main valve disposed at an outlet port of the pump in the main pipe; a pressure tank connected to the main pipe; and a sub-pipe having a first end connected to a front side of the main valve of the main pipe and a second end connected to the pressure tank so that some of fluid pressurized and discharged from the pump is delivered to the pressure tank through the sub-pipe, thereby discharging substances in the pressure tank to the outside.

  • Patent number: 8991417
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of controlling pressure maintenance equipment for a cooling and heating system. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method of operating and controlling, under optimum conditions, pressure maintenance equipment with multiple sensors so as to check for irregularities in the sensors which measure the same physical parameter. In the present invention, measurement values of two or more sensors are used to detect whether an abnormality has occurred in any sensor. If a sensor is determined to be abnormal, a measurement value of the abnormal sensor is excluded when determining a reference control value. Thereby, the pressure can be precisely and reliably controlled in response to actual conditions of the system.

  • Publication number: 20130160862
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of controlling a water level of a pressure tank of a piping system. The piping system includes the pressure tank, a level transmitter, a first level switch disposed on a low-level-alarm line, a second level switch disposed between the low-level-alarm line and a lower limit line of an optimal level range, a third level switch disposed between a high-level-alarm line and an upper limit line of the optimal level range, and a fourth level switch disposed on a high-level-alarm line. The method includes receiving a level measurement value from the level transmitter; receiving and checking ON/OFF signals of the level switches; comparing the level measurement value with the ON/OFF signals; determining whether an abnormality has occurred in the level transmitter, and determining whether to raise or lower the water level; and supplying gas to the pressure tank or exhausting gas therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20130000739
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of controlling the water level of a pressure tank of a piping system. The piping system includes a pressure tank, level sensors, a gas supply device, a supply valve and an exhaust valve. The method includes: measuring the water level; calculating absolute values of difference values between water level measurement values measured by the level sensors, thus obtaining measurement deviation values; comparing the measurement deviation values with a preset deviation value; determining whether an abnormality has occurred in each level sensor; outputting the mean of the measurements of the level sensors, while excluding the measurement of an abnormal level sensor(s), as a reference water-level-control value; and comparing the reference water-level-control value with a preset reference water level value, and determining whether to raise or lower the water level, and supplying gas into the pressure tank or exhausting gas therefrom.
