    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a module type microfluidic chip comprising: (a) printing electrode patterns on a substrate using a conductive ink and inkjet printing; (b) cutting the printed electrode patterns; and (c) assembling the cut electrode patterns to manufacture the module type microfluidic paper chip. Unlike the traditional method for manufacturing printed circuit substrate using a patterning agent or device, the method of the present invention only incorporates a simple printing process using an inkjet printer, and thus patterning can be simplified and various types of chips can be manufactured depending on the assembly type of electrode patterns. Accordingly, inexpensive, economical, and highly utilizable microfluidic chips can be provided using the method of the present invention.

    Abstract: Provided are a method for preparing grapheme from an organic material using a radiation technique, and graphene prepared using the same, and more particularly, a method of preparing graphene by dissolving an organic material such as polymer, oligomer, or the like, in a solvent to prepare an organic material solution, applying the prepared solution to an upper portion of a substrate to form an organic thin film, introducing a cross-link structure into the organic thin film through irradiation with radiation, and then performing a carbonization process, and graphene prepared using the same. With a method of preparing graphene from an organic material using a radiation technique, and graphene prepared using the same according to the present invention, expensive metal catalyst and substrate, oxidation and reduction processes, and a delicate process control may not be required as compared to the existing method.

    Abstract: A method for the surface modification of fluoropolymer films using electron beam irradiation to generate superhydrophobic surfaces is provided. This surface modification method can cause simultaneously both a physical modification roughening the fluoropolymer surfaces and a chemical modification changing the surface composition of the fluoropolymers, and therefore fabricating the superhydrophobicity on a fluoropolymer surface by controlling the dose of electron beam irradiation. The motor comprises: a shaft, a plurality of core blocks coupled to the shaft, a plurality of permanent magnets inserted into each of the core blocks, and an aligning unit, coaxial with the shaft, and disposed between the shaft and the core blocks. The core block includes a plurality of core sheets each having at least a pair of flux barriers formed to be symmetrical to each other about a line of symmetry. A first rib lies along the line of symmetry and a separate anti-deformation rib is positioned within each of the pair of flux barriers. Accordingly, a skew process for a rotor is facilitated. An anti-deformation rib within the flux barrier provides structural integrity for the core block. Accordingly, when the rotor is rotated with a high speed, a bridge is prevented from being deformed.
