Abstract: An application-executing method using fingerprint recognition includes obtaining an image of a first fingerprint through a fingerprint sensor and recognizing the first fingerprint, executing a first application corresponding to the first fingerprint in a first screen when the first fingerprint is recognized, obtaining an image of a second fingerprint through the fingerprint sensor and recognizing the second fingerprint, determining whether the second fingerprint is recognized within a predetermined time after the first application is executed, and, based on a determination result, when it is determined that the second fingerprint is recognized within the predetermined time after the first application is executed, generating a second screen by splitting the first screen, and executing the first application on one of the second screen, and a second application corresponding to the second fingerprint on the other of the second screen.

Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for identifying authenticity of a holographic image, which is capable of identifying the authenticity by comparing a holographic image reconstructed by irradiating light having the same characteristic as an irradiation characteristic of a first reference beam used in generating the holographic image with an original image. Accordingly, since an image or a pattern is recorded by using a reference beam having a specific angle and a specific laser wavelength band in making a hologram, replication or copying for forgery is prevented from being easy.

Abstract: Provided are a method of restricting the use of a file, an electronic device, and a recording medium. The method of restricting the use of the file includes receiving an input of setting a region by a touch drag operation or a touch draw operation on a screen, receiving an input of a fingerprint of a user, and setting a lock on at least one file included in the region by matching the at least one file and the input of the fingerprint.

Abstract: A system and method for hybrid Rete reasoning based on memory and DBMS are provided. The system for hybrid Rete reasoning based on memory and DBMS includes a reasoning rule type classification means for classifying an input reasoning rule as one of one or more types. A network generation means generates a network depending on the classified reasoning rule type. A network execution means derives extended triples by applying a predetermined triple to the generated network.

Abstract: An efficient reasoning system and method using a view in a DBMS-based RDF triple store are provided. The DBMS-based reasoning system includes a triple input unit for receiving a Resource Description Framework (RDF) triple. A triple examination unit examines whether the received triple conforms to RDFS subsumption relation entailment rules or Web Ontology Language (OWL) inverse relation rules. A view creation unit creates a table view when the received triple conforms to the RDFS subsumption relation entailment rules or the OWL inverse relation rules as a result of the examination. A triple storage unit stores the received triple. The DBMS-based triple store can efficiently perform reasoning based on rule rdfs7 or rdfs9, which is included in the RDFS subsumption relation entailment rules, and the OWL inverse relation rules.

Abstract: A Database Management System (DBMS)-based Semantic Web query system and method using parameterized SPARQL queries are provided. The present invention is configured to include output means that creates a parameter list from a SPARQL query statement, converts the query statement into an SQL statement and stores a PREPARED STATEMENT (PS) object in association with the SQL statement, thereby outputting query results. Accordingly, the query time of a Semantic Web service can be reduced, thereby improving QoS.

The reflector is disposed at an edge of the frame. The signal generating and determining means is disposed at the other edge of the frame so as to face the reflector. The signal generating and determining means generates a first and a second infrared beams to emit to the reflector, receives a mixed beam in which the first and the second beams reflected by the reflector are superimposed, and determines the presence and direction of the object passing through the gate based on the mixed beam.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for acquisition of calibrated three dimensional data from camera image. The apparatus for acquisition of calibrated three dimensional data from camera image includes a cameral, alight source and an image processing computer. The camera acquires a light strip image of a target object. The light illuminates light strip to the target object and provides information about the illumination angle form base line (or reference line). The image processing computer obtains image and information about the angle .theta. of light plane from base line; computes connection strength of neural network and acquires calibrated three dimensional data in neutral network based on the obtained information. The mapping relationship between a control point in the three-dimensional space and a control point projected onto the two-dimensional image plane and illumination angle of light source to control point are derived by the neural network circuit.
