Abstract: A thin film transistor array substrate is provided. The thin film transistor array substrate includes a substrate; a gate pattern of a gate electrode and a gate line connected to the gate electrode on the substrate; a main gate insulating film formed of an organic material to cover the gate pattern; a semiconductor pattern overlapping the gate line such that the main gate insulating film is disposed between semiconductor patter and the gate line; a source/drain pattern on the semiconductor pattern. The source/drain pattern has a data line crossing the gate line with the main gate insulating film therebetween, a source electrode and a drain electrode, Here, the source electrode, the drain electrode and the semiconductor pattern define a thin film transistor disposed at the intersection between the gate line and the data line.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a data verification apparatus and method which can verify digital multimedia data to be transmitted and received. A receive data verification apparatus includes a decrypter for decrypting an encrypted High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) stream and outputting the decrypted, resulting raw data in the form of an HDMI stream, and a receive data verifier for receiving the HDMI stream from the decrypter and performing HDMI reception algorithms to verify the received HDMI stream. After obtaining a High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP)-decrypted stream, an HDMI module can be easily developed by performing various HDMI reception or transmission algorithms with respect to the obtained stream.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving multimedia data are disclosed. The method for transmitting/receiving multimedia data includes the steps of generating a High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI)-type data of 4-bits, encoding the 4-bits HDMI-type data into 10-bits TERC4 (Transition-Minimized Differential Signaling Error Reduction Coding-4) encoded values, converting the 10-bits TERC4 encoded values into 8-bits DVI (Digital Video Interface)—type data, transmitting the 8-bits DVI-type data, receiving the 8-bits DVI-type data, converting the received 8-bits DVI-type data into 10-bits TERC4 encoded values, decoding the 10-bits TERC4 encoded values into 4-bits HDMI-type data, and receiving the decoded HDMI-type data.
