  • Publication number: 20140235273
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for determining the position of a terminal. The method for determining the position of a terminal belonging to an overlay network environment comprises: a step in which the terminal transmits a position determination request to a positioning server; and a step in which the terminal receives, from the positioning server, position determination support information comprising a virtual cell ID allocated to transmission points surrounding the terminal. Therefore, using this method for determining the position of a terminal enables highly accurate position determination even in an overlay network environment in which a plurality of transmission points are configured so as to have the same cell ID.

  • Patent number: 8743720
Abstract: Disclosed are channel management methods in a multicarrier structure in a mobile communication system. Uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) channel management methods in a carrier aggregation environment are used as the channel management methods. In DL, a base station determines a component carrier (CC) of an unstable radio channel state, stops data retransmission by the CC, and notifies a terminal of retransmission stop. In UL, the base station determines a CC of an unstable radio channel state and instructs the terminal to stop data retransmission by the CC, and the terminal stops the data retransmission and initializes a retransmission buffer.

  • Publication number: 20130314374
Abstract: A capacitive type touch detecting device has one or more sensor pattern groups disposed in a row or column direction. A capacitive type touch detecting device for the sensor pattern groups is formed in a single layer, and thus it is possible to reduce production costs, and to simplify a manufacturing process. Further, the capacitive type touch detecting device requires a relatively smaller number of signal wires than a structure in which the signal wires are formed on the respective sensor pads, and thus a space for the signal wires can be minimized.

  • Patent number: 8588145
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for allocating and accessing downlink resources in the OFDMA communication system. In the resource allocation method, bursts having the same modulation and channel encoding level are arranged in a predetermined temporal order on a physical layer. Information on the allocated unit resources is included in a common control block and is transmitted to a subscriber station, and the subscriber station then detects a number of the allocated unit resources to thus check the range of bursts to be received by the subscriber station. Therefore, power consumption by the subscriber station is reduced and signaling overheads of the common control information and unneeded residual resources are decreased.

  • Patent number: 8559382
Abstract: The present invention relates to a preamble allocation method and a random access method in a mobile communication system. In the present invention, one among preamble resources is allocated to specific mobile stations in advance, before random access. The mobile stations request random access by transmitting a preamble based on the pre-allocated preamble resource to a base station. It is therefore possible to prevent collision caused by the fact that other mobile stations transmit the same preamble.
