Thus, the pressure of the carbon dioxide of the connection channel is capable of being maintained at a predetermined pressure limit or less, and solenoid malfunction can be prevented so as to improve reliability and stability of a system.

The use of the catalyst enables the synthesis of glycerol carbonate from glycerol and urea with high conversion rate, selectivity and yield. Further disclosed is a method for synthesizing glycerol carbonate from glycerol using the catalyst.
