  • Patent number: 8552148
Abstract: The present invention relates to: TNF-? antagonists containing IGFBP5 protein, variants thereof, or fragments thereof; and the use of the TNF-? antagonists. More specifically, the present invention relates to: a polynucleotide encoding the protein, variants thereof, or fragments thereof; a vector containing the polynucleotide; a transformant containing the vector; and a method for screening a therapeutic agent for TNF-? overexpression-related diseases by checking whether the mutual reaction thereof is facilitated after treating with candidates to the cell expressing the IGFBP5 protein, variants thereof, or fragments thereof, and the TNFR1.

  • Patent number: 6274884
Abstract: The amorphous silicon layer overlaps the gate electrode and the edges of the amorphous silicon layer are substantially encompassed by the edges of the gate electrode. The distance between the edges is at least 2 microns. Accordingly, both the light obliquely incident on the amorphous silicon layer from the outside once the light normally incident on the amorphous silicon layer is blocked by the gate electrode. Insulation layers, which are separated from the amorphous silicon layer and made of an amorphous silicon, are interposed between the edges of the source/drain electrodes and the gate electrode to reinforce the insulation between the gate electrode and the source/drain electrodes and also to absorb the light reflected by the source/drain electrodes and the gate electrode. The source electrode may partially surround the drain electrode in annular shape, to reduce the parasitic capacitance generated between the gate electrode and the drain electrode.

  • Patent number: 6227230
Abstract: Disclosed is a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank assembly for a vehicle. A plurality of LPG tanks are communicated one with another through liquid-phase and gas-phase communication pipes and are secured one to another by connection brackets. A plurality of mounting brackets are fastened at one ends thereof to one ends of the plurality of LPG tanks, respectively, and at the other ends thereof to a body of the vehicle, thereby to prevent the connection brackets and the communication pipes from being damaged or broken due to vibration or impact which is generated in or exerted to the vehicle.
