The vehicle stop control method performed by a controller of the vehicle includes steps of: converting vehicle driving environment information into data to be used as system input information; checking whether a controller related to each of driving and braking systems of the vehicle operates normally; determining whether the vehicle is driving in a reverse direction; and performing vehicle emergency stop control when the vehicle is driving in the reverse direction.
