    Abstract: A power transmission system for a hybrid electric vehicle may include an input shaft to which a rotational power of an engine is input; a first motor/generator having a first motor shaft; a planetary gear set disposed on the first motor shaft of the first motor/generator and including a first rotation element fixedly connected to the first motor shaft, a second rotation element fixedly connected to the input shaft, and a third rotation element; a second motor/generator having a second motor shaft disposed; and an output shaft transmitting a rotational power transmitted from the planetary gear set and the second motor/generator to a differential apparatus, wherein the rotational driving force of the planetary gear set and the second motor/generator is transmitted to the output shaft by the first gear set and the rotational driving force of the output shaft is transmitted to the differential apparatus by the second gear set.

In particular, a support portion is formed on the stepped surface and is in contact with the support bumps so as to fix the outer ring in a rotation direction.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and a system for controlling a generation output of a starter generator connected to an engine to transmit a rotary force in a hybrid electric vehicle. The method includes receiving, by a controller, vehicle state information for determining a driving mode of the vehicle after the vehicle starts, and determines the driving mode requiring an increase of the generation output from the vehicle state information; determining, by the controller, a need for the increase of the generation output to control a generation output variable for each driving mode; determining, by the controller, a torque command and a torque application time corresponding to a required output for each driving mode of the vehicle to control the generation output variable; and applying, by the controller, the determined torque command for the determined application time to control the generation output of the starter generator.

    Abstract: A motor generator for a vehicle includes a housing having a through hole along a central axis thereof, with a protrusion protruding outwards along a circumference of the through hole. A rotating shaft is disposed in the housing in such a way that a first end thereof is exposed outside through the through hole. A pulley is disposed outside the housing in such a way that the first end of the rotating shaft is inserted into and coupled to a central portion of the pulley. A rim of the pulley is surrounded by the protrusion and a central portion of the pulley passes through the through hole, so that a watertight flange having a larger diameter than the through hole is disposed in the housing.

    Abstract: A motor having a cooling structure includes a rotor fixed to a rotatable motor shaft, a rotor coil formed adjacent the rotor, a coil protection cover disposed adjacent the rotor coil, mounted in the motor shaft, and having a coolant chamber filled with a coolant. The motor further includes a stator fixed adjacent an exterior circumference of the rotor and may include a cover in which one end portion of the motor shaft is rotatably penetrated having a cooling pin at an internal side surface opposite one side surface of the coil protection cover. The coolant filled in the coolant chamber of the coil protection cover receives heat generated in the rotor coil, and, by effectively emitting the heat to the outside through the cooling pin formed in a rear cover, durability of the entire motor can be improved, and failure of peripheral parts can be prevented.
