  • Patent number: 8074125
Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for transmitting and receiving data bits. The apparatus includes a transmitter configured to generate a transmission signal corresponding to the data bits and having a periodic transition, a data line configured to transmit the generated transmission signal, and a receiver configured to generate a reception clock signal from the periodic transition of the transmission signal (“reception signal”) transmitted through the data line, sample the reception signal according to the generated reception clock signal to recover the data bits. Accordingly, it is possible to transmit clock information without a clock line separate from the data line.

  • Publication number: 20110289682
Abstract: A collapsible bed frame that supports a box spring includes side rails and telescoping cross rails. A first hinge connects upper and lower portions of a first side rail that are each at least 35 inches long. A first portion of a cross rail telescopes inside a second portion of the cross rail, and the first portion is connected to the first hinge. Upper and lower portions of a second side rail are connected by a second hinge that includes a slot. The second portion of the cross rail has a tongue that fits into the slot on the second hinge. The side rails also have support legs with flanges that extend above the side rails when the support legs are extended. The first and second hinges also include flanges that together with the support leg flanges prevent the box spring from sliding towards either side of the bed frame.

  • Patent number: 8067116
Abstract: Disclosed are an electrode active material, having a composition of SnPx (0.9?x?0.98), an electrode comprising the same, and a lithium secondary battery comprising the electrode. Also disclosed is a method for preparing an electrode active material having a composition of SnPx (0.9?x?0.98), the method comprising the steps of: preparing a mixed solution of a Sn precursor, trioctyl phosphine (TOP) and trioctyl phosphine oxide (TOPO); and heating the solution. The application of the teardrop-shaped single-crystal SnP0-94 particles as an anode active material for lithium secondary batteries can provide an anode having very excellent cycling properties because the active material has a reversible capacity, which is about two times as large as that of a carbon anode, along with a very low irreversible capacity, and it is structurally very stable against Li ion intercalation/deintercalation in a charge/discharge process, indicating little or no change in the volume thereof.

  • Patent number: 8056159
Abstract: A folding mattress support system replaces both a conventional box spring and the bed frame with rails. The mattress support system is lighter, quieter and easier to transport, and also provides more storage space beneath the mattress. The mattress support system includes bed frame assemblies, central connecting bars, edge attachments and a bed skirt. Leg brackets fold out from the bed frame assemblies, which themselves unfold in the middle. Central connecting bars connect inner side edges of the bed frame assemblies. Plastic edge attachments are attached at outer corners of the bed frame assemblies and hold a bed skirt taught around the frame assemblies when the frame assemblies are standing on the extended leg brackets. A mattress is then placed on top of the assembled mattress support system. Optionally, metal edge attachments at the head corners of the mattress support system both hold the bed skirt and support a headboard.

  • Patent number: 8053795
Abstract: A light emitting device and a method for fabricating the same according to the present invention are advantageous in that since an LLO (Laser Lift Off) process is performed using a thick metal film grown through a growth process, an occurrence rate of a void is remarkably decreased due to dense bonding between metals so that an occurrence rate of a crack can be decreased. Further, the present invention has an advantage in that a metal is filled in trench regions formed through an isolation process for devices, thereby protecting the devices and ensuring excellent heat dissipation. The present invention has a further advantage in that a reflective film is formed on inclined sidewalls of a device-forming thin film layer so that light loss through lateral sides of the device can be reduced, thereby improving optical properties.
