The deck has a chassis in which a plurality of structures constituting a mechanical mechanism for loading a tape and recording or reproducing information; and a switch/sensor circuit board in which a plurality of switches and sensors constituting an electronic mechanism for detecting an operation of the deck and a state of the structures. The switch/sensor circuit board is formed of a PCB and assembled to a lower surface of the chassis.

Abstract: A loading and unloading apparatus for a recording medium to detachably load a recording medium to an electronic device. A loading frame is installed in the electronic device and with which the recording medium is slidingly engaged. A connector is installed on the loading frame. Abstract: A locking device for a tape cassette housing of a tape recorder comprises a locking recess and a locking protrusion respectively provided in sides of a tape cassette housing and a deck chassis and corresponding to each other, thereby fastening a tape cassette housing to the deck chassis, the tape cassette housing resiliently coming into contact with the deck chassis as a tape cassette is loaded. In here, around external circumference of the locking protrusion is formed at least one edge, and an end of the edge comes into contact with a corner of the locking recess right before the locking protrusion is inserted into the locking recess. Accordingly, the locking protrusion comes into linear contact with the corner of the locking recess in loading/unloading operations of the tape cassette so that the stopping of the ascending and descending movements of the tape cassette housing is prevented during the loading/unloading operations of the tape cassette.

Abstract: Disclosed is a reel clutch of a tape recorder. A plate spring is positioned between a reel gear and a reel disc of a reel disc assembly which is mounted on a deck of a tape recorder, and a stopper reel is provided on the reel disc to restrain the engaging height of the plate spring so that a torque is generated by the frictional contact between the reel disc and the plate spring, whereby assembly productivity can be enhanced and manufacturing costs can be reduced.

Abstract: A pole base assembly driving device for a tape recorder is disclosed. Manufacturing of decks becomes simpler and at lower cost. The pole base assembly driving device has a loading gear rotatably disposed on the deck, and rotated by a driving force which is transmitted from a driving source installed on the deck. The pole base assembly further comprises an elastic rod connected by one end to the loading gear, and connected by the other end to a link member which is connected with the pole base assembly. The elastic rod is preferably made of a material which is elastically bendable by an external force, and preferably comprises a deformation restricting means for restricting a deformation of the elastic rod when the elastic rod is deformed by the rotation of the loading gear, such as protrusions on the concave side of the rod when deformed and a reinforcement member. As a result, the number of parts and manufacturing cost is reduced, and deterioration of durability due to breakage of parts can be avoided.

The power supply device comprises a reel cover disposed on a sub-chassis, with a tape-end detecting sensor being seated on the reel cover for detecting the passing of a terminal end of a magnetic portion of a magnetic tape, a first power transmitting member mounted in the reel cover to be connected to the detecting sensor and having a first contacting portion, and a second power transmitting member disposed on the sub-chassis and having a second contacting portion that comes into contact with the first contacting portion when the reel cover is mounted on the sub-chassis. The power supply device further comprises a resilient pressing member integrally formed with the sub-chassis, for resiliently pressing the second contacting portion toward the first contacting portion to improve a contacting force between the first and the second contacting portions.

In this state, a resilient member formed at the reel cover body resiliently contacts a side surface of the chassis so that the protrusions are kept within the recesses. The reel cover can be assembled with the chassis in a simple manner without requiring extra securing means such as screws. Accordingly, the number of assembly parts can be decreased and the assembly procedure may be simplified, thereby productivity may be improved and manufacturing cost may be reduced.

The main cam gear causes the sub-deck, the pole base loading unit, the brake unit, and the main sliding member to perform linked movements while the main cam gear is rotationally driven.

Abstract: A head drum assembly and a method for cutting a rotary drum for the head drum assembly are provided. The head drum assembly includes a stationary drum fixed around a shaft, and a rotary drum rotatably mounted around the shaft. A magnetic head unit is mounted to the rotary drum and has a magnetic head. A head distancing groove is formed on a bottom part of the rotary drum in a circumferential direction of the rotary drum to substantially prevent the magnetic head from contacting the rotary drum. At least one head window is connected with the head distancing groove. The magnetic head protrudes out through the head window. Because the head distancing groove is formed in a circumferential direction of the shaft of the rotary drum, the head distancing groove may be processed by lathing. Thus, the number of processes required to form the rotary drum may be reduced, thereby saving manufacturing costs.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for compensating a gray-scale CCT in an LCD are provided. In the apparatus, a camera captures an external image, a memory stores the captured image and other image data, and a video processor compensates the correlated color temperature (CCT) of the image received from the camera and the image data read from the memory according to a gray-scale CCT compensation control signal, and outputs a compensated RGB signal. A display receives the compensated RGB signal and displays the image on the LCD according to the RGB colors. A controller controls the video processor by the gray-scale CCT compensation control signal for the image data received from the camera and the memory.
