  • Publication number: 20240144875
Abstract: A display device is disclosed that includes a pixel component configured to output an image based on a first driving frequency, a scan driver configured to sequentially provide a scan signal to each pixel row in each frame based on the first driving frequency, and a driving controller configured control the scan driver such that, in the case where image data includes data corresponding to a static image, a display area is divided into a first area for the static image, and a second area for a video, and the first area is driven at a second driving frequency, and the second area is driven at a third driving frequency. The driving controller may control the scan driver such that a driving frequency corresponding to the first area is reduced to the second driving frequency, and a driving frequency corresponding to the second area is increased to the third driving frequency.

  • Publication number: 20240105108
Abstract: A source driver includes a digital-to-analog converter that converts signals corresponding to first and second colors included in digital image data into first and second analog color data voltages, respectively, an output buffer unit including a first output buffer that alternately outputs the first color data voltage and the second color data voltage during one horizontal period, and a controller that controls the digital-to-analog converter and the first output buffer to alternately output the first color data voltage and the second color data voltage corresponding to each horizontal period for each horizontal period. The controller controls the first output buffer such that the second color data voltage is output after the first color data voltage is first output during a first horizontal period, and the first color data voltage is output after the second color data voltage is first output during a subsequent second horizontal period.

  • Publication number: 20170150949
Abstract: A device for detecting ovulation using saliva according to the present invention comprises: a device body having a lens disposed in the inner space thereof and a pinhole formed through a side opposite to the lens; a scattering unit coupled to one side of the device body, which has the pinhole formed therein, and configured to scatter light to be supplied to the pinhole; and a sample plate which is separably mounted in the device body so as to be located between the lens and the pinhole and on which saliva is placed, wherein the pinhole is configured to convert light, which passed through the scattering unit, into point light so as to uniformly supply the light to the sample plate, so that saliva crystals formed by drying of the saliva will form a striking contrast with the surrounding portions when the light is scattered by the saliva crystals.

  • Publication number: 20040015085
Abstract: This invention of an apparatus and a method for detecting luminescence from biological systems in response to magnetic fields measures the amount of light emitted when impressing a magnetic field on a living thing, a tissue or cells separated from a living thing to evaluate the effect of magnetic fields on biological systems. The apparatus of this invention consists of a dark box which shields a biological sample from external light, a magnetic field generator which is arranged adjacent to the biological sample to impress a magnetic field on it, and a photodetector which detects the light emitted from the biological sample exposed to the magnetic field from the said magnetic generator.
