A first width of the combining recess adjacent to the side surface of the light-guiding plate is greater than a second width of the combining recess adjacent to the light-entering surface.     Abstract: Disclosed is a sequence similarity measuring apparatus and a method of controlling the same. The sequence similarity measuring apparatus using dynamic programming includes: a matrix generating unit for generating a matrix based on the dynamic programming by using two sequences; a normalization unit for calculating a similarity reference value by inputting an element value of a last row/column of the matrix generated by the matrix generating unit into a normalization formula for a given sequence length; and a similarity measuring unit for measuring predefined sequence similarity between the two sequences, based on the similarity reference value calculated by the normalization unit. This makes it possible to easily and correctly achieve similarity comparison between multiple sequences, and thus this technology is expected to be widely utilized in biology/programming application fields.

    Abstract: A chip capacitor which can be miniaturized with structural stability. In the chip capacitor, a capacitor device has a cathode layer formed on an outer surface thereof and an anode wire is protruded from a portion thereof. A cathode lead is electrically connected to the cathode layer. An anode lead is electrically connected to the anode wire through a weld reinforcement. A molding is configured to cover the capacitor device in such a way that the cathode and anode leads are only partially exposed. Protrusions are protruded from outer surfaces of the cathode and anode leads, respectively, thereby forming steps on the outer surfaces thereof. In the chip capacitor, the leads and molding are bonded with much greater strength, thus more structurally robust. Also, this prevents external moisture from penetrating inside the chip capacitor, thereby significantly enhancing moisture resistance.
