Abstract: Provided is a method for event processing and a system for using the same. The system for event processing in a computer may include an interface to detect an input associated with an event, an event definition engine which defines the event using a plurality of event components and a corresponding event component wrapper wrapping each of the plurality of event components, an event processing engine which processes the event, and an event action module to generate an output based on the event. The event definition engine may determine a hierarchical relationship between the plurality of event components and assigns the hierarchical relationship in the corresponding event component wrapper. Moreover, the event processing engine may execute each of the event components according to the hierarchical relationship assigned in the event component wrapper.

Abstract: A method of displaying an image and an image display apparatus are provided. The method includes a method of displaying an image, the method including displaying an image of a current channel among channels, receiving a first input to change the current channel to a next channel after the current channel, or a second input to change the current channel to a previous channel before the current channel, and dividing a display into areas in response to the receiving the first input or the second input. The method further includes displaying images of next channels after the current channel in the areas, in response to the receiving the first input, and displaying images of previous channels before the current channel in the areas, in response to the receiving the second input.

Abstract: A method of extracting an important keyword by an important keyword extracting server, the method includes receiving a set of one or more documents from a network, receiving one or more user defined keywords from a user terminal, calculating, by the server, a relative importance value for each of words detected in the set of documents, determining, by the server, a weight for each of the words based on the one or more user defined keywords, applying, by the server, the weight for each of the words to the relative importance value for each of the words, determining, by the server, at least one of the words to be the important keyword based on the relative importance value to which the weight is applied and transmitting, by the server, the important keyword to the user terminal. Therefore, the method may effectively detect a user defined keyword from at least one document.

Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for wave power generation of an underwater type, which can be float underwater and can efficiently generate wave power. The apparatus includes a housing formed to have an open bottom end and fixedly connected to the seafloor, a shaft extending from a bottom surface of a top end of the housing, a floater having a top end opened to surround the shaft, positioned at a lower portion of the housing and reciprocating in a perpendicular direction with respect to the housing, and a linear generation unit converting kinetic energy based on the reciprocating motion of the floater into electrical energy.

Abstract: Disclosed are a cold water tank and a water treatment apparatus. The cold water tank includes a tank body, a water inlet pipe provided at the tank body to convey water into the tank body, a water outlet pipe provided at the tank body to convey the water out of the tank body, and including an air vent hole, and a floating member movably provided at the water outlet pipe to block the air vent hole when the water filling the tank body reaches a height of the air vent hole. The water in the upper portion of the tank body is prevented from passing through the air vent hole and draining through the water outlet pipe, thereby preventing the cooler water in the lower portion from mixing with the hotter water in the upper portion. Only the cooler water in the lower portion can be supplied to a user.
