Abstract: A system for controlling a conveyor in a virtual environment includes a twin model module comprising control logic and configured to virtualize a control system for conveyors installed in a factory. The system also includes a digital factory module configured to virtualize the conveyors installed in the factory and create a virtual factory model controlled by the twin model module. A virtualized conveyor includes multiple paths formed by segmenting the conveyor based on joints. The twin model module is configured to control transportation routes of products based on the joints.

Abstract: A digital twin system includes multiple twin model modules and multiple digital factory modules. Respective ones of the multiple digital twin system models comprises control logic and are configured to virtualize respective control systems for respective ones of multiple factories. Respective ones of the multiple digital factory modules are configured to virtualize respective ones of the multiple factories and are controlled by respective ones of the multiple twin model modules to create a virtual factory model. The digital twin system further includes a simulator module configured to manage the multiple twin model modules.
