Abstract: Disclosed herein is a contact apparatus for a circuit breaker, and the circuit breaker may include a stationary electrode portion having a stationary contact; and a movable electrode portion configured to be brought into contact with and separated from the stationary electrode portion, wherein the movable electrode portion includes a movable conductor portion configured to be approached to and spaced from the stationary electrode portion; and a movable contact combined with the movable conductor portion in a relatively movable manner to be brought into contact with and separated from the stationary contact. Through this, it may be possible to alleviate a shock when contacting a contact.

Abstract: A rechargeable battery comprises: an electrode assembly comprising a plurality of positive electrode plates, a plurality of negative electrode plates, and a plurality of separators; and a case enclosing the electrode assembly; wherein each separator in the plurality of separators comprises a central portion facing at least one of the positive and negative electrode plates, and an extended portion that extends past the positive and negative electrode plates, and wherein each of the extended portion comprises an adhered portion that is adhered to adjacent extended portions.

Abstract: A rechargeable battery comprises an electrode assembly comprising an anode, a cathode, and a separator, a case for receiving the electrode assembly, and an electrode terminal electrically connected to the electrode assembly and drawn outside the case. The anode and the cathode each comprises an electrode uncoated region exposed past the separator and including a current collector at an edge. The electrode terminal comprises a terminal plate having a first terminal portion adhered to a bottom surface of the current collector and a second terminal portion drawn outside the case, and a combiner installed on the terminal plate to surround and adhere to a side surface and a top surface of the current collector.

Abstract: A rechargeable battery that includes a case made of a laminate sheet; an electrode assembly installed in the case and an electrode terminal that protrudes outside the case and is connected to the electrode assembly. The case includes a receiving unit receiving the electrode assembly and including a first sealing part, and a cover covering the receiving unit and including a second sealing part that is thermally fused to the first sealing part. The first sealing part and the second sealing part include first protrusions and depressions and second protrusions and depressions respectively formed on a portion corresponding at least to the electrode terminal, and the electrode terminal includes third protrusions and depressions respectively corresponding to the first protrusions and depressions and the second protrusions and depressions.
