Abstract: A method and apparatus to generate image forming data using a color profile matching an image processing application. The method includes generating a color profile matching table listing color profiles matching corresponding ones of image processing applications, in response to a request to form an image by a specific image processing application, determining whether or not a specific color profile matching the specific image processing application is listed in the color profile matching table, and if the specific color profile matching the specific image processing application is listed in the color profile matching table, generating the image forming data in accordance with the specific color profile, wherein the image forming data is transmitted to an image forming apparatus to form an image.

Abstract: A printing control apparatus and a method of setting a paper feed standby time during a printing operation in a manual paper feed mode includes a printer driver which transmits a document to print and generates a command regarding a preset paper feed standby time, and a communication interface which transmits the transmitted document and the command regarding the paper feed standby time to the printing apparatus. In the printing control apparatus, a user does not have to press a print start button to save time to print the document. Since the setting of the paper feed standby time is simplified, the user can set the paper feed standby time with ease and the overall printing time can be shortened.

Abstract: An image forming method and apparatus provided with a plurality of output trays, the image forming apparatus including an image forming unit for printing an image on a paper; a tray selecting unit for outputting the printed paper to one of the plurality of output trays; and a control unit for dividing print data into at least two or more page groups in page number order, wherein the control unit controls the image forming unit so that the print data belonging to each page group is printed by the page and in turn, and controls the tray selecting unit so that the printed paper is transported to the output trays in turn, wherein the number of which is equal to or greater than the number of page groups.
