Abstract: A method of manufacturing a blank which uses direct electric heating includes: pressing electrodes on both sides of the blank and heating the blank by applying current to the blank; hot-forming the heated blank; trimming the formed blank; and loading the trimmed blank. An apparatus for manufacturing the blank includes a pair of first electrode units on both surfaces of a side of the blank to press the surfaces, a pair of second electrode units on both surfaces of the other side of the blank, a pressing unit pressing the first electrode units or the second electrode units on the blank, a cooler cooling portions around the first electrode units or the second electrode units, and a power supply control unit heating the blank up to a predetermined temperature.

Abstract: An apparatus for detecting a defect of a press panel includes: an acoustic emission sensor unit configured to detect at least one elastic wave signal emitted from the press panel as a detection target during press work, a period measurer configured to measure a period as a section in which there are consecutive signals with a greater voltage than a threshold voltage among the at least one detected signals, and a defect existence determination unit configured to determine that a defect is generated in the press panel when the measured period is greater than a first reference value, and to determine that the press panel is in a normal state when the measured period is smaller than a second reference value which is smaller than the first reference value.

Abstract: A heat treatment apparatus for hot stamping includes a frame, and heating units provided to be vertically movable at both upper and lower sides of the frame and configured to heat a cold formed steel plate by electrifying the steel plate. Cooling units are provided to be vertically movable at centers of the upper and lower sides of the frame and are configured to cool the heated steel plate while pressurizing the steel plate from upper and lower sides.
