  • Publication number: 20110154146
Abstract: Provided are a data transmission apparatus and a data reception apparatus when a retransmission of a data unit repeatedly fails in a Radio Link Control (RLC) layer. When a retransmission with respect to a particular data unit, for example, a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) continuously fails, each of a transmission entity and a reception entity may detect the retransmission failure and locally process a corresponding packet. Accordingly, the transmission entity and the reception entity may continuously transmit and receive data.

  • Publication number: 20110138033
Abstract: There are provided a method for processing an exceptional case of establishing a default bearer and a device therefor in order to solve a problem in that a user equipment cannot actually receive an IP service by accessing a packet network while failing in establishing the default bearer in a mobile communication system. A method for processing an exceptional case of establishing a default bearer in a mobility management entity includes: receiving a network attachment request from a user equipment; transmitting a network attachment acceptance including an activation request of the default bearer to the user equipment in response to the network attachment request; and cancelling a network attachment procedure when a completion response to the activation request of the default bearer is not received from the user equipment within a predetermined time.

  • Publication number: 20100309859
Abstract: A session control method for use in a radio communication system is provided. In the session control method, a session management (SM) protocol message for the setting or the cancellation of a session is transmitted with the aid of a radio resource control (RRC) protocol message of a lower layer for the setting or the cancellation of a radio bearer. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the number of signalling messages to a radio interface and thus to minimize signalling delays. In addition, it is possible to realize a many-to-one correspondence between services and bearers and realize efficient packet services in an evolved radio communication system by separately defining service identifiers and bearer identifiers and selectively setting or cancelling a bearer according to the correspondence between services and bearers.

  • Publication number: 20100254399
Abstract: A method for controlling uplink IP packet filtering in a mobile terminal in a 3GPP Evolved Packet System (EPS) is provided, including an information receiving operation of receiving IP address information allocated to user equipment, and filtering information required for delivering an uplink IP packet received from the user equipment; and a filtering operation for determining which packet data network and a bearer the IP packet is delivered to, based on the IP address information and the filtering information. In a 3GPP evolved packet system supporting a default bearer function, a packet data network to which an uplink IP packet is delivered and a bearer identifier can be efficiently determined when the user equipment simultaneously accesses one or more packet data networks and is allocated several IP addresses, resulting in effective uplink packet filtering.

  • Patent number: 7269448
Abstract: A method recognizes a request for data transmission by a mobile/base station RRC (Radio Resource Control) using a network transfer device, by which the mobile/base station RRC can recognize the request for data transmission using the network transfer device in a state where recognition of the request for data transmission is disabled. The mobile/base station RRC sets the network transfer device in a suspend state and recognizes a request for data transmission from an up/down link. The network transfer device in the suspend state recognizes the request for data transmission to the up/down link, and sends a message to the mobile/base station RRC to inform the mobile/base station RRC that it recognizes the request for data transmission. The mobile/base station RRC recognizes the request for data transmission according to a received message from the network transfer device and transits to an active state.

Abstract: A method for directly performing a data analysis, a logical design and a physical design processes on an EDIF file and an initial data, without utilizing Troll relational Database system, to create an optimized schema, a meta data and a processor load (PLD) without any overlapped process. First, the EDIF file and the initial data file are received and an initial system environment is set for creating the meta data and the processor load data. Further, a DBMS.sub.-- MODE.sp file and a DBMS.sub.-- REL.sp file are created such that the database mode specification file represent a recorded definition of a SET mode defined in all the EDIF files, and such that the database relation specification file represent a recorded definition of the relation in all the EDIF files which are being converted into Chill Syntax Structure. Various meta data corresponding to each processor are created based on the catalogue of transaction files.
