Abstract: Proposed is a refrigerator. According to the refrigerator, a storage space (121) may be defined in a cabinet (100), and a machine room (201) may be arranged under the storage space (121). To implement a cooling system, a compressor (610), a condenser (620), and a heat dissipation fan (611) may be included in the machine room (201). In addition, a control module (700) may be provided in the machine room (201) to face an outlet (225b) of the machine room (201). The control module (700) may be installed at a position close to the entrance of the machine room (201) and may be separated frontward from the machine room (201), and thus accessibility to the control module (700) can be enhanced.

Abstract: A system for monitoring alignment of a second component relative to a first component includes a camera, and a controller including a processor and a nontransitory memory. The controller is configured to receive a first captured image from the camera when the second component is in a predetermined position relative to the first component, receive a selection of a region of interest (ROI) in the first captured image, identify a visible feature of the second component within the ROI of the first captured image, receive captured images from the camera during a subsequent operation, identify a second captured image when the second component is expected to be in the predetermined position relative to the first component, and determine if the second component is in the predetermined position relative to the first component based on the second captured image and the identified visible feature of the first captured image.

Abstract: A rail assembly for a refrigerator is provided. The rail assembly may include a pair of pinions respectively provided in a pair of rails installed on two opposite walls of a storage chamber of a refrigerator. A pair of racks is respectively coupled to the pair of the pinions to guide motion of the pinions. One of the racks includes an extended portion that allows the pinions move without engaging the racks so as to align the drawer door horizontally when a force is applied to a left or right portion of the drawer door coupled to the refrigerator.
