  • Patent number: 11970566
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a polyurethane filter foam having excellent air permeability, elasticity, and restoring force. In the method of manufacturing the polyurethane filter foam, the cell size of the filter foam is made regular by controlling the pressure by adjusting the diameter of the foaming head of a foaming machine, rather than adding a cell opener, cell irregularity caused by poor dispersion of the cell opener is alleviated, and air permeability, porosity, and compression set are excellent.

  • Patent number: 8198358
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing phenolic polymers utilizing Coprinus cinereus peroxidase. More particularly, the present invention relates to a process for preparing phenolic polymers by polymerizing phenolic monomers with Coprinus cinereus peroxidase instead of using typical peroxidase which essentially requires the use of toxic formalin or peroxidase of plant origin which is very costly and easily deactivated by hydrogen peroxide in the polymerization of phenolic monomers, wherein the polymerization is conducted in the presence of a polar organic solvent under mild reaction conditions of atmospheric temperature and pressure to economically produce desired phenolic polymers having excellent water and chemical resistances with high yield.

  • Patent number: 7737245
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing a phenolic polymer using a phenothiazine-based mediator, in particular, to a process for preparing a phenolic polymer via polymerization of phenolic monomers by using a phenothiazine-based mediator in the presence of peroxidase biocatalyst and an oxidant, thereby drastically improving the enzyme reactivity of peroxidase. The phenolic polymers prepared according to the polymerization of this invention maintain unsaturated hydrocarbon groups linked to their side chains, so that they are very useful as a curing resin because they can easily form coatings through radical curing. In addition, the coating formed using the curing resin has an antioxidation effect and a low surface energy, so that they can prevent physical attachment of marine livings. Because the antifouling-causing functional groups are not consumed, the coatings continuously exhibit durability.
