In the resource sharing system, the super peers distribute and manage resource information of the edge peers according to a key word. Therefore, if a resource is requested using part of a name of a resource desired by a certain edge peer, the super peer searches for resources including the resource desired by the edge peer. Therefore, a user of an edge peer may acquire a desired resource even using part of a name of a desired resource.

If an edge peer storing a resource information list of a super peer migrates to a different super peer and is registered and connected with the different super peer, the edge peer transfers the resource information list to the different super peer to share the resource information list. Resources may be searched based on a region information list into which resource information lists of adjacent super peers are integrated.

Abstract: A peer-to-peer (P2P) network system and a method of operating the P2P network system are provided. The P2P network system includes at least one edge peer storing resources and at least one super peer sharing and managing resource information corresponding to the resources of the at least one edge peer. By updating changes in characteristics of peers due to elimination and movement of any one of a plurality of edge peers and super peers included in the P2P network, path reconfiguration may be performed efficiently.

Abstract: In a transmission device and method for a CDMA communication system, when a shorter frame message is generated during transmission of a longer frame message, the transmission of the longer frame message is interrupted, whereupon the shorter frame message is immediately transmitted in place of a portion of the longer frame message. In one embodiment, after the longer frame message is interrupted and the shorter frame message is transmitted, only the tail portion of the longer frame message is transmitted thereafter. That is, the replaced portion of the longer frame message is not transmitted following the shorter frame message transmission. In an alternative embodiment, following the shorter frame message transmission, the remainder of the longer frame message, from the point of interruption, is transmitted in its entirety. In the latter case, the longer frame message is delayed by the length of the shorter frame message.

Abstract: Provided is an interleaving method that can reduce error occurring during transmission at a receiving end in an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. According to the interleaving method, transmitted data bits are recorded in an interleaving memory; and the stored data bits are read based on a predetermined sequence to perform symbol interleaving, tone interleaving and cyclic shift simultaneously. Also, to simplify the logic of the OFDM system, the data bits transmitted from an interleaver go through Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) mapping, and the FFT mapped data bits are modulated. In short, the logic can be simplified by performing FFT mapping followed by modulation.

Abstract: An FFT apparatus for quickly processing input signals and method thereof is disclosed. In performing the FFT for processing N input signals, four N/4-point FFT units implemented by radix-2 single-path delay feedback (R2SDF) units performs the FFT with respect to the input signals, and a radix-4 computation unit performs a radix-4 computation with respect to the signals transferred from the N/4-point FFT units. Accordingly, the input signals are processed in parallel through the N/4-point FFT units, and thus a quick process of the input signals can be performed.

Abstract: A power controlling apparatus and method in a mobile communication system. A receiver in a mobile station multiplexes the frame reception result indicator bits for at least two traffic channels received from a transmitter in a base station, inserts the multiplexed frame reception result indicator bits in a pilot signal bit by bit, and transmits the reverse frame. Then, the transmitter extracts the pilot signal from the reverse frame, demultiplexes the frame reception result indicator bits, and performs a power control on the traffic channels based on the values of the frame reception result indicator bits.

The primary sync code is for acquiring synchronization at a starting point of a frame and the frame is equal to one period of a spreading code. The secondary sync code transmitter is for generating and then transmitting a secondary sync code at a second location in a frame. The secondary sync codes are assigned to base station groups, one to a group. A mobile station sync code receiving device comprises a primary sync code acquisition decider and a base station group decider. The primary sync code acquisition decider is for acquiring a primary sync code received at a first location in a frame, and then acquiring synchronization at a starting point of a frame.
