Abstract: A communication system retrieves profile data corresponding to a user profile of a second user, identifies a status message in the profile data, display, via a user interface of the instant messenger application, the status message; in response to receiving, via the user interface, a user input associated with the status message: query, based on the status message, a database to identify one or more items, and display, via the user interface of the instant messenger application, item data corresponding to the one or more items, receive, via the user interface, a user input associated with the one or more items, instantiate a transaction authentication of the one or more items by causing transmission of transaction information data associated with the first user, and cause, based on the transaction authentication of the one or more items, delivery of the one or more items to an account of the second user.

Abstract: An apparatus for performing user recognition may include: a first sensor configured to measure health information from a user; a second sensor configured to measure a pulse wave signal from the user; and a processor configured to obtain oxygen saturation based on the pulse wave signal, to recognize the user based on an oxygen saturation pattern of the obtained oxygen saturation, and to update the measured health information as health information of the recognized user.

Abstract: An electronic device and a control method using the same are provided. The electronic device may include: a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor having a plurality of channels arranged isotropically; and a processor configured to: detect a center of gravity of an external force applied to a measurement area of the PPG sensor by an object, based on PPG signals that are detected from the plurality of channels when the object is in contact with the measurement area of the PPG sensor, and generate a control command based on a change in the detected center of gravity.

Abstract: Disclosed is an intelligent display board capable of increasing visibility by responding to external environmental factors in real time. The intelligent display board aims to improve a displayed image by minimizing differences in the characteristics of a display element (LED) according to the influence of external sunlight and artificial lighting and temperature. The white color of the display board is moved to be closed to a reference if deviating the reference so that low-level colors that are ignored by sunlight, etc. are darkened and the variance of recognizable colors is increased to make it easy to distinguish, thereby increasing the visibility of the display board. In addition, luminance varying according to temperature is adjusted to compensate for and adjust an image while automatically being applicable to a surrounding environment even with respect to temperature, thereby increasing the quality of an image displayed on the display board.
