Patent number: 12264117Abstract: The present invention is related to a process for the conversion of used cooking oil into aromatics (BTEX) hydrocarbon as petrochemical building blocks. The process provides an aromatic rich hydrocarbon from used cooking oil in the presence and absence of steam/hydrogen over supported bimetallic alumina-silicates zeolites. The catalyst contains no precious metal entities and may contain one metal form zinc (Zn), a second metal (X), comprising at least one selected from cobalt (Co), gallium (Ga), chromium (Cr), Iron (Fe) and third elements from cerium (Ce), boron (B) supported on alumina-silicates zeolites. The present invention relates to a catalyst excluding novel metals to produce aromatics in a continuous fixed bed reactor system under atmospheric pressure. More particularly, the present invention relates to a low-temperature process to produce aromatic over alumina-silicates zeolites. The process provides used cooking oil conversion of 84-89% with aromatic selectivity of 87-91%.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2023Date of Patent: April 1, 2025Assignee: COUNCIL OF SCIENTIFIC AND INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH AN INDIAN REGISTERED BODY INCORPORATED UNDER THE REGN. OF SOC. ACT (ACT XXI OF 1860)Inventors: Bipul Sarkar, Om Vir Singh, Ankit Agrawal, Anjan Ray, Sanat Kumar, Bhanu Prasad Vempatapu, Jagdish Kumar

Publication number: 20240187493Abstract: Intelligent microservice timeout management is provided. It is determined whether a threshold level of predictability has been attained for a microservice chain corresponding to a current transaction requested by a user. It is determined whether the current transaction is predicted to result in a fast-forwarded façade timeout based on a total of historic execution times of microservices in the microservice chain for data size and data condition exceeding a total of configured timeouts of the microservices in the microservice chain in response to determining that the threshold level of predictability has been attained for the microservice chain. A timeout is presented at an entry point microservice into the microservice chain to terminate the current transaction prior to executing the microservice chain for the current transaction saving time and resources in response to determining that the current transaction is predicted to result in the fast-forwarded façade timeout.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 5, 2022Publication date: June 6, 2024Inventors: Sudheesh S. Kairali, Vijay Kalangumvathakkal, Ashish Kumar Thakur, Jagdish Kumar, Sarbajit K. Rakshit

Patent number: 10735343Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system includes a processor(s) obtaining historical data related to buffer space usage of a common shared storage resource by a group of journals. The processor(s) monitors each journal over repeating temporal periods and determined a predictability for each journal (i.e., predictable or unpredictable. The processor(s) generates usage statistics for each journal during each monitored period dependent on whether the journal was predictable or unpredictable during the monitored period. For each monitored period, the processor(s) ranks predictable journals by a buffer space requirement for each journal of the predictable journals. Based on the rankings, the processor(s) determined a buffer space requirement for each journal for a current period, where the current period shares temporal qualities with the given monitored period. The processor(s) allocates, for use during the current period, based on the buffer space requirement, buffer space to each journal.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2019Date of Patent: August 4, 2020Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Sudheesh S.
