Abstract: A DPS (dual pressure system) sport ball incorporating a special, environment friendly casing that forms an exterior surface of the ball, which is bonded to a multiple lining layers to form a laminated sheet. The laminated sheet is sized, printed, and cut out into specifically designed panels using highly optimized and automated specifically developed machines. The panel cut outs are stitched together using a special stitching machine and a specific, compatible bladder is incorporated in the ball. The partially machine stitched ball is then finally closed by manual stitching and the seams are protected with a special adhesive. Resultantly, due to unique construction materials, their unique arrangement, innovative technology, and highly automated manufacturing processes, the DPS sport ball has advantageous durability, playability, controllability and excellent flight characteristics. The DPS sport ball qualifies under the international standards of match/professional balls at a very competitive price.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method for identifying an antagonist compound of microsomal triglyceride transfer protein (MTP), wherein the antagonist at least partially inhibits triglyceride transfer activity while not significantly inhibiting phospholipids transfer activity of MTP. In particular, the present invention is directed to assays for phospholipid (PL) and triglyceride (TG) transfer activity having considerably improved sensitivity. In addition, antagonist compounds that modulate the lipid transfer activity of MTP are provided. Kits for measuring the lipid transfer activity of MTP are also provided by the present invention.

Abstract: The invention relates to compositions, medicaments, methods for treating individuals with high plasma lipid levels, and methods for screening drug candidates useful in, for example, the treatment of hypercholesterolemia. Specifically, the invention relates to the discovery that MTP inhibition leads to increased accumulation in cellular free-cholesterol and is useful in the development of compositions, medicaments, methods of treatment and drug screening methods to treat high plasma lipid levels.
