    Abstract: An apparatus for driving a deck of a camcorder and a control method thereof in which an inclined drum having forty millimeters diameter, which may be easily manufactured and is inexpensive, is forwardly mounted on a maid deck, and a guiding mechanism and various driving devices are designed in an effort to miniaturize the camcorder. According to the invention, there is provided an apparatus for driving a deck of a camcorder, the deck having a main deck and a sub-deck adapted to move on the main deck.
