  • Publication number: 20250178389
Abstract: A load transporting apparatus including: a main body; at least one surface engaging wheel supporting the main body for moving the main body over a surface; a load engagement device for engagement with a load, and a carriage device, which is connected to the main body or the load engagement device; and a guide member, which is connected to the other of the main body and the load engagement device; wherein the carriage device and the guide member engage each other and permit sliding movement therebetween along an elongate axis, the carriage device having a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion extends towards a first side of the guide member and terminates at a first end and wherein the first portion includes a first engagement part which engages a first contact surface of the guide member; the second portion extends towards a second side of the guide member and terminates at a second end and wherein the second portion includes a second engagement part which engages a second contact surf

  • Publication number: 20200358330
Abstract: An electric machine includes a stator having a stator core, rotor core and/or magnetic core comprising a plurality of slots. Each of the plurality of slots includes a spacer, a conductor, and encapsulated slot insulation. The spacer is configured to suspend the conductor away from the stator core by a dielectric distance without occupying all of the space between the conductor and the stator core. The encapsulated slot insulation includes an encapsulation material configured to flow in a liquid state around the perimeter of the conductor filling in the space between the conductor and the stator core. The encapsulation material cures to hold the spacer and the conductor in place. The encapsulated material typically has higher thermal conductivity properties than a conventional slot liner, increasing the performance of the motor.
