    Abstract: The invention provides a biodiesel and Fischer-Tropsch derived hydrocarbon blend, whereby the characteristics of the Fischer-Tropsch derived hydrocarbon are used to improve the diesel-like characteristics of biodiesel. The invention also provides a blending component for Compression Ignition engine fuel as well as a method of adjusting the density of a hydrocarbon fuel.
