  • Patent number: 11419272
Abstract: A bale wrapping apparatus for both inline and individual bale wrapping is described herein. The bale wrapping apparatus includes a bale wrapping mechanism configured to carry a plastic film around a bale when the bale is positioned in a bale wrapping space of the bale wrapping mechanism. The bale wrapping mechanism includes at least one movable tine that is configured to extend into the bale wrapping space to support the bale in the bale wrapping space when the bale wrapping apparatus is configured for inline bale wrapping and is movable out of the bale wrapping space when the bale wrapping apparatus is configured for individual bale wrapping. The bale wrapping apparatus also includes two powered rollers for supporting and rotating the bale in the bale wrapping space during individual bale wrapping. The two powered rollers are movable to configure the bale wrapping apparatus for inline bale wrapping.

  • Publication number: 20210298250
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an irrigation system for irrigating a plurality of plants growing in growing media. The system includes a movable grow table for supporting and displacing the plants and a gravity irrigation device which is coupled to the movable grow table and displaceable therewith. The gravity irrigation device includes a reservoir which is coupled to the movable grow table, a main header in fluid communication with an outlet of the reservoir which is configured to receive a flow of water therefrom, as well as a plurality of microtubes which extends from a plurality of header outlets. The microtubes are configured to receive a head-pressurized flow of water from the main header to evenly irrigate the plants. A method for irrigating a plurality of plants growing in growing media is also described.

  • Publication number: 20160022056
Abstract: To control the amount of shelf space to maintain a fully stocked display with fluctuating amounts of product, a telescopic shelving apparatus is provided. The telescopic display apparatus includes a housing with a pair of side walls and an elongate track member disposed at an angle to a horizontal plane on each wall. The apparatus further includes a plurality of angled sliders extending between the walls and coupled with one of the elongate track members. A plurality of adjustable shelves are each attached to a respective one of the angled sliders. A common control mechanism, along with the elongate track members, allows the sliders and their attached adjustable shelves to simultaneously extend or retract vertically as well as horizontally.

  • Patent number: 6334651
Abstract: An actuator for a manually operated lumbar support system provides for an in-out directional adjustment of a flexible member via control of tension in a cable through rotary motion of a lever or knob attached to a driving shaft associated with a directional one-way locking clutch that slips in either direction under manual actuation and locks when no manual actuation occurs or movement stops. A housing and an eccentric hub combine to form a wedge space. Several locking members, such as rollers or balls, are used to lock the rotation in response to tension from the cable, but only one locking member exists in each wedge space. The designed locking direction may be either clockwise or counterclockwise, as desired. The drive shaft has fingers associated with each locking member to move the locking members to release the clutch in the opposite direction. The tension of the cable may be used to lock the actuator in one direction.

  • Patent number: 6019649
Abstract: An adjustable propeller system includes an outboard drive portion having a propeller. At least one linearly extendable and retractable trim arm is mounted between an outboard plate and the propeller to adjust the trim angle between the outboard plate and the propeller. An upper arm and a lower arm are each pivotally mounted to a transom mounting plate and pivotally mounted to the outboard mounting plate. The upper and lower arm are linearly extendable and retractable to adjust the depth of the outboard drive portion.

  • Patent number: 5690048
Abstract: A boat hull is constructed of inner and outer aluminum skin layers. A foam material and a plurality of spaced frame members are sandwiched between the two skin layers. The skin layers are directly welded to the spaced frame members, which preferably are spaced apart at close intervals, to ensure structural integrity and product performance. A preferred method of constructing a boat hull designed according to this invention includes providing a temporary support structure that is connected to longitudinal beams of the boat hull frame. After spaced frame members are connected to the longitudinal beams a first skin layer is attached. The temporary support structure is then removed and the aluminum skin layers are attached to the spaced frame members. A liquid, curable, closed cell foam preferably is injected into the spacing between the skin layers and the spaced frame members.
