  • Patent number: 9138546
Abstract: A needle assembly for an injection device comprising a needle cannula which is mounted in a hub connectable to an injection device, and a biasing shield which is telescopically guided relative to the hub between a position in which the needle cannula is covered and a position in which at least the sharp end of the needle cannula is exposed, such that an injection can be performed without visual contact with the needle cannula. Further releasable locking means is provided such that the user can lock or unlock the shield to perform the telescopi-cally movement. In order to release the shield, the injection device itself can be utilized as the key for unlocking.

  • Publication number: 20120022461
Abstract: A shielded needle assembly for a drug delivery device in which a needle cannula (20) tilts once the needle assembly is removed from the drug delivery device whereby a non-patient end (22) of a needle cannula (20) abuts an inside surface of the needle hub (1) and a patient end (21) of the same needle cannula (20) blocks the axial movement of the shield (50).

  • Patent number: 7052246
Abstract: An axial piston micropump is disclosed, having a cylinder drum, in which several cylinders are provided a swash plate, with respect to which the cylinder drum is rotatable. It is desirable for such a micropump to have a small displacement combined with a long service life and in which the displacement or delivery volume can be achieved with great accuracy. For that purpose, at least two cylinders are provided, of which at least one is in the form of a working cylinder which has an associated working piston, while at least one other cylinder is in the form of a balance cylinder and has an associated balance piston.
