Abstract: A device for use to automatically navigate to a pre-programmed address in a network. The navigation device includes an interface coupling circuit, a microprocessor, a memory device and an input device. The navigation device may be easily transported by the holder and is preferably in the shape of a card or token. The navigation device is programmed to store a unique identification number and at least one network address. In operation, the holder places the navigation device in contact with or in proximity to an interface, whereby the stored network address is automatically retrieved from the memory device and a web browser application is accessed and navigates to the particular address. If more than one address is stored in the memory device, then the navigation device selects the appropriate address based on a condition or event.

Abstract: A method of signing digital data, comprising the steps of subjecting the data to be signed to a message digest function to produce a digest of the data to be signed, transmitting the message digest to a small, mobile transaction device which contains a secret key and a user's PIN code, determining whether a user's PIN code is correct and, if it is, hashing the digest as a function of said secret key, returning the transformed message digest to a service provider, digesting and hashing the original data at the service provider using the same message digest function and secret key, and determining whether the hashed message digest at the service provider matches the hashed message digest received from the transaction device.

Abstract: A device to register the dispensing of medicaments comprising sensing devices located at the medicament side to detect the dispensing thereof. The device is comprised of a sheet-like envelope of a one-way material and being a continuous, foldable way adapted to enclose the medicaments. There is an electronic printed circuit applied on the envelope and is stretched over foldable areas of the sheet-like envelope. It is also operatively connected to the sensing devices and to an electronic unit.
