Publication number: 20240287558Abstract: An enzymatic method for the production of an L-glufosinate P-alkyl ester can be performed. This method is characterized by reacting an L-glufosinate P-alkyl ester carbamoylate to give the corresponding L-glufosinate P-alkyl ester. This is catalyzed by a carbamoylase. The L-glufosinate P-alkyl ester carbamoylate employed may be obtained by a reaction from the corresponding L-glufosinate hydantoin P-alkyl ester. This is catalyzed by a hydantoinase, preferably an L-enantioselective hydantoinase. In a second aspect, an enzymatic method for enantioselective production of an L-glufosinate P-alkyl ester from a mixture MIIIA of L- and D-glufosinate P-alkyl ester hydantoins can be performed. The L-glufosinate P-alkyl ester obtained in the methods according to the first or second aspect of the invention may be saponified to give L-glufosinate.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 31, 2022Publication date: August 29, 2024Applicant: Evonik Operations GmbHInventors: Ludger Lautenschütz, Steffen Oßwald, Markus Pötter, Jakob Müller

Patent number: 8714297Abstract: A single-wheel suspension of a non-steerable driven wheel of a two-track vehicle is provided. The suspension includes two longitudinal control arms that pivot in a vertical plane. The first control arm is supported by a vertical pendulum support and supports a wheel bearing. The second control arm is supported with one rotational degree of freedom on the vehicle and is connected to the first control arm with one rotation degree of freedom by a connecting member between the wheel bearing and the pendulum support. At least a section of the first control arm between the wheel bearing and the connecting member is located inside the wheel rim space. A gear mechanism at least partially inside the wheel rim includes two transmission stages laterally offset from one another. The rotational axes of a connection shaft connecting first and second transmission stages and the connection element between the two control arms coincide.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2013Date of Patent: May 6, 2014Assignee: Bayerische Motoren Werke AktiengesellschaftInventors: Elsa Davy, Bernhard Paulus, Alfred Pruckner, Dirk Schlichte, Jakob Mueller

Patent number: 8382131Abstract: A single wheel suspension of a non-steerable wheel of a two track vehicle includes two links pivotable relative to each other in respective planes, each being inclined less than 10° relative to the longitudinal and vertical directions of the vehicle. A first link, extending approximately in the longitudinal direction, functions as a wheel carrier. The first link is supported with an end section on the vehicle body via a pendulum support, which extends essentially in the vertical direction. The second link, extending approximately in the longitudinal direction, is supported in an articulated manner, on one side, on the body with only one kinematic rotational degree of freedom and on the other side to the first link between the wheel bearing and a pendulum support fastening point with only one kinematic rotational degree of freedom. No other wheel guiding link is provided, except for a connecting element.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 2012Date of Patent: February 26, 2013Assignee: Bayerische Motoren Werke AktiengesellschaftInventors: Elsa Davy, Dirk Schlichte, Jakob Mueller, Bernhard Paulus, Alfred Pruckner, Roland Koenig

Patent number: 6631631Abstract: On a two-roll rounding machine, in addition to a compressively elastic guide roll and a compressively rigid rounding roll, one or more compressively elastic rolls are provided which have both a rounding function and a supporting function for the rounding roll. These additional rolls may also be supported by a back-up roll. The result is a rounding machine that has very good rounding characteristics even at small rounding diameters.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 2001Date of Patent: October 14, 2003Assignee: Elpatronic AGInventors: Eugen Müller, Jakob Müller

Patent number: 6171502Abstract: The present invention provides a column endpiece for a chromatography column. The column endpiece includes a base part, an extension piece for a discharge tube, and a frit. The frit produces a pressure drop per unit length that is at least twice as great as the pressure drop per unit length created in the sorbent packing when the eluent is flowing through.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 1999Date of Patent: January 9, 2001Assignee: Merck PatentGesellschaftInventors: Hans Daniel Jakob Mueller, Axel Delp, Hans-Dieter Harders, Joseph H. Patent number: 4010598Abstract: The closure flap folding device includes a first conveying means arranged to convey envelopes having open closure flaps into a rotating receiver. The receiver includes a pair of spaced discs mounted on a shaft and the discs have a plurality of radially extending spaced slots therein forming radially extending fingers therebetween. The fingers have a generally square peripheral edge portion and resilient members secured thereto that extend into adjacent slots. An adjustable guide member is positioned between the spaced discs and positions the envelopes within the slot so that the closure flap score line is aligned with the square peripheral edge of the adjacent finger. An arcuate flap folding member is positioned around a portion of the discs and has a portion that converges toward the outer peripheral edge of the discs. As the receiver rotates the closure flaps of the envelopes in the slots contacts the inner surface of the arcuate folding member and the closure flap is partially folded along the score line.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 1975Date of Patent: March 8, 1977Assignee: F.
