  • Publication number: 20240423156
Abstract: An elastic teat cup liner (100) or teat rubber has a top region (120) which has an undulating structure that surrounds the teat insertion opening (150). As a result, the deformation behavior in the region of the teat insertion opening can be improved, so that a simpler attachment of the teat cup with higher adhesive force and less constriction can be achieved. Furthermore, the undulating structure can serve as a valve in order to reduce vacuum peaks during the milking process.

  • Patent number: 11206804
Abstract: The present invention therefore provides a modular system for constraining milk flow in a pressure-dependent and/or controlled manner. Due to the modular concept, the required properties of the device can be adjusted in an efficient manner. For example, it is possible to adapt the connection to a milk line, i.e., the geometry of the connection arrangement, specifically to the existing conditions of the milking stall and the milking system. The pressure-dependent constraining when milking can be adjusted specifically for a single teat or in pairs for two teats by using a respective module component. If necessary, adjustment of the range for reliable switching can be performed by selecting suitable spring components and/or by adapting the flow resistance. The flow resistance is adjustable by using a suitable connection arrangement and/or by exchanging a modular flow body.

  • Patent number: 11185049
Abstract: A teat cup sleeve constructed from two connectable sleeve parts, a modular teat cup system and a corresponding method for the application of a modular teat cup sleeve are provided. The modular design of the teat cup sleeve allows a versatile adaptation of one teat cup to different milking conditions, for example by changing one sleeve part while retaining the other sleeve part with the necessary connection arrangement.

  • Patent number: 9393727
Abstract: During the production of teat rubbers, in particular of teat rubbers containing a high percentage of silicone, pressure is applied when the teat rubber preforms are removed, the radial expansion of teat rubber areas being appropriately limited to a maximum value. Hence, the removal can be executed automatically and at a comparatively high temperature without irreversible damage being caused to the material. The removal process can be supported by an appropriate contact surface whose contour corresponds, at least partially, to the outer contour of the preform. Furthermore, an appropriate removal device is provided.

  • Patent number: 8925484
Abstract: According to the invention, an actuator is provided for a milking installation, wherein the actuator is fixed at a distance to a teat cup cluster and is mechanically coupled to the teat cup cluster via a flexible component so as to incite a stimulating movement of the teat cup cluster on the udder by means of an actuator element. The inventive actuator can also be used to adjust the angle of tilt of the teat cup cluster during milking. The invention also provides a retaining device for teat cups, comprising a fastening device for fixing the retaining device on a predetermined milking position, wherein the retaining device is furthermore formed to maintain, during a first operational phase, every teat cup of a plurality of teat cups in a fixed position relative to each other and to allow manual access to every retained teat cup in such a manner that during a second operational phase every teat cup can be manually moved in several directions relative to the retaining device and at least one additional teat cup.
