    Abstract: A safety valve arrangement for a single lever water tap includes, disposed coaxially in series in a removable module 18, a first air ventilating valve 20, a second air ventilating valve 21, and a non-return valve 22 coupled to and controlling the second ventilating valve. The non-return valve is disposed in the mixed water outlet passage of the tap such that when it opens in response to a water demand, it automatically closes the second ventilating valve, and vice versa.
