  • Patent number: 12200170
Abstract: A device, system and method for selecting calls for forwarding to a communication device is provided. An automated call-answering device answers a plurality of calls associated with an incident. The device assigns, to the plurality of calls, questions associated with the incident, each of the questions assigned to at least two of the plurality of calls. The device asks the questions on the plurality of calls, as assigned. The device receives answers to the questions. The device selects a call to be forwarded to a communication device operated by a human user, the call selected from a group of the plurality of calls where one or more consistent answers were received in response to a given question, the call further selected based on voice attributes of callers in the group of the plurality of calls. The device forwards, to the communication device, the call as selected.

  • Patent number: 12156103
Abstract: Methods and systems for simultaneous monitoring of multiple talkgroups to reduce network congestion. The systems and methods include receiving data from a plurality of communication devices, wherein each of the plurality of communication devices is associated with a talkgroup member of the plurality of talkgroups and at least one talkgroup of the plurality of talkgroups; parsing the data received from each of the plurality of communication devices; dynamically detecting a content of interest within the parsed data based on a contextual relationship between a first talkgroup member associated with a first talkgroup and a second talkgroup member associated with a second talkgroup; notifying at least one of the first talkgroup member and the second talkgroup member when the content of interest is detected; and switching the first talkgroup member from the first talkgroup to the second talkgroup based on detecting the content of interest.

  • Patent number: 11627139
Abstract: A process for transferring security access permissions between in-camera users includes capturing, at an electronic computing device via an image capture device, an image of two or more in-camera users. A first in-camera user and a second in-camera user are identified n the image. An input gesture identifying the first in-camera user as a source of security access permissions and the second in-camera user as a destination of security access permissions is detected. Responsively, the electronic computing device causes a first particular security access permission associated with the first in-camera user to be applied to and modify a current set of security access permissions associated with the second in-camera user.

  • Publication number: 20210164791
Abstract: A device, system and method for transporting occupants of vehicles to a location for assistance is provided. A controller receives, via a communications unit, from a vehicle, a request to assist at least one occupant of the vehicle. The controller determines, from map data accessible by the controller, a combination of a meeting place and a corresponding rescue vehicle, selected from a plurality of rescue vehicles, which minimizes a total travel time of the vehicle from a current location to the meeting place, and the corresponding rescue vehicle from the meeting place to a location for assisting the at least one occupant. The controller transmits, using the communications unit, to each of the vehicle and the corresponding rescue vehicle, respective navigation instructions to the meeting place.
