    Abstract: In response to receipt of a best-deal request specifying requested feature levels for products, feature sufficiency for each of said products is evaluated. Each feature sufficiency indicates whether or not a given product meets a respective requested feature level. Normalized prices are determined for the products. Products are sorted according to feature sufficiency and normalized prices for the respective products. A best-deal list is generated with product identifiers for the products arranged in the sorted order.

    Abstract: A system and method for reputation-based service valuation are provided herein. The method includes receiving, within a computing system, subjective evaluation criteria relating to a service from any of a number of users of the service. The method also includes scaling the subjective evaluation criteria based on a reputation of each of the users to produce reputation-based subjective evaluation criteria. The method further includes generating a service valuation for the service based on the reputation-based subjective evaluation criteria.

    Abstract: In at least some embodiments, a system includes a client layer having a client computer with a database query interface. The system also includes a database layer having a relational database and an object model database. The system also includes an application layer in communication with the client layer and the database layer. The application layer is configured to receive an object form query from the database query interface, translate the object form query to a structured query language (SQL) query, and forward the SQL query to the relational database. The object form query comprises an object, object property criteria, and object history criteria.
