  • Publication number: 20230055468
Abstract: Provided herein are non-naturally occurring, broadly reactive antigens derived from influenza viruses or avian infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) that are immunogenic and capable of eliciting a broadly reactive immune response, e.g., a broadly reactive neutralizing antibody response, directed against influenza virus antigens or IBV antigens following introduction into a subject. Also provided are non-naturally, broadly reactive immunogens, vaccines, virus-like particles (VLPs) and compositions comprising the immunogens and vaccines. Methods of generating an immune response in a human or non-human subject by administering the immunogens, vaccines, VLPs, or compositions thereof are provided. In particular, the immunogens comprise broadly reactive hemagglutinin (HA) protein antigens of influenza virus strains, such as H1, H2, H3, H5, or H7, or of IBV. The immunogens also comprise broadly reactive viral neuraminidase (NA) protein antigens.

  • Patent number: 11543535
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, and devices for fault detection in a Lidar system. A fault detection system obtains incoming Lidar data output by a Lidar system during operation of an AV system. The incoming Lidar data includes one or more data points corresponding to a fault detection target on an exterior of a vehicle of the AV system. The fault detection system accesses historical Lidar data that is based on data previously output by the Lidar system. The historical Lidar data corresponds to the fault detection target. The fault detection system performs a comparison of the incoming Lidar data with the historical Lidar data to identify any differences between the two sets of data. The fault detection system detects a fault condition occurring at the Lidar system based on the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20220402399
Abstract: A vehicle control system and method include processors that determine that an energy storage device of a vehicle will have insufficient energy to power a propulsion system of the vehicle under a first set of operational settings to move the vehicle from a first location within a powered segment to a designated second location that is outside of an unpowered segment of a route. Responsive to determining that the energy storage device will have insufficient energy, the processors change one or more settings of the vehicle to operate the vehicle under a second set of operational settings while the vehicle moves within the powered segment of the route to charge the energy storage device to a greater extent relative to operating of the vehicle according to the first set of operational settings.

  • Publication number: 20220391984
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling use of a credit pool in connection with electronic trading in a plurality of product groups via a set of match engines are described. Credit data indicative of a current magnitude of the credit pool is obtained. A plurality of allocations of the credit pool are determined, based on the credit pool, across the plurality of product groups. For each allocation of the plurality of allocations, allocation data indicative of the allocation is provided to a respective credit controller of a set of credit controllers. The respective credit controller is disposed at a respective match engine to which a respective product group of the plurality of product groups is assigned. The use of the credit pool for an incoming order in a respective product group is thus limited in accordance with the allocation data provided to the credit controller at the respective match engine.

  • Patent number: 11514371
Abstract: In one embodiment, a computing system may receive an uncompressed image from a camera. The computing system may generate a compressed image by performing a compression process on the uncompressed image, wherein a decompressed image may be generated as a byproduct during the compression process. The computing system may send the decompressed image to a machine-learning model that was trained using decompressed images. The computing system may generate, by the machine-learning model, an output based on the decompressed image. The computing system may provide operational instructions to a vehicle based on the output.

  • Patent number: 11501084
Abstract: In one example, a system can execute a first machine-learning model to determine an overall classification for a textual dataset. The system can also determine classification scores indicating the level of influence that each token in the textual dataset had on the overall classification. The system can select a first subset of the tokens based on their classification scores. The system can also execute a second machine-learning model to determine probabilities that the textual dataset falls into various categories. The system can determine category scores indicating the level of influence that each token had on a most-likely category determination. The system can select a second subset of the tokens based on their category scores. The system can then generate a first visualization depicting the first subset of tokens color-coded to indicate their classification scores and a second visualization depicting the second subset of tokens color-coded to indicate their category scores.

  • Patent number: 11499230
Abstract: The disclosed methods and apparatus improve the fabrication of solid fibers and microstructures. In many embodiments, the fabrication is from gaseous, solid, semi-solid, liquid, critical, and supercritical mixtures using one or more low molar mass precursor(s), in combination with one or more high molar mass precursor(s). The methods and systems generally employ the thermal diffusion/Soret effect to concentrate the low molar mass precursor at a reaction zone, where the presence of the high molar mass precursor contributes to this concentration, and may also contribute to the reaction and insulate the reaction zone, thereby achieving higher fiber growth rates and/or reduced energy/heat expenditures together with reduced homogeneous nucleation. In some embodiments, the invention also relates to the permanent or semi-permanent recording and/or reading of information on or within fabricated fibers and microstructures.
