  • Publication number: 20140374342
Abstract: The Environmental Waste Water Cultivation System is specifically designed without drainage or discharge facilities, to protect viable environments, including hydraulic systems. This system receives solid and aqueous waste and limits the amount of precipitation or condensation in an “on-demand” and variable fashion, to stabilize the system instantaneously and produces useable biomass. This system produces no discharge at any time and will function in any climate, every month.

  • Publication number: 20140350590
Abstract: Assemblies, kits, and methods for occluding a vascular vessel, such as a varicose vein, are disclosed. An assembly can include a removable inner member, a removable outer member, and an elongated expandable member positioned in a compressed form between portions of the inner and outer members. To facilitate their removal, one or both of the inner and outer members can include a handle coupled to a proximal end. The elongated expandable member can include a gelatin material or a collagen material that is configured, when wetted, to expand from a compressed first diametrical size to a second larger diametrical size within a time period of 5 minutes or less. At the second larger diametrical size, the gelatin or collagen material can occlude a vascular vessel for a period of at least 20 days without degrading.

  • Publication number: 20140125795
Abstract: A trailer hitch alignment and coupling assistant is provided that is adapted to provide the driver of a towing vehicle with a clear indication of the relative positioning of the vehicle trailer hitch ball mount and the trailer coupler when maneuvering the towing vehicle. The system comprises a rear-mounted, downward facing imaging means and light source, which is adapted to capture the position of a first and second marker placed on the ball mount and trailer coupler, respectively. The image is communicated to a display unit within the vehicle cab for the operator to see the relative positioning of the two markers while reversing the vehicle. The markers are preferably reflective and visible in low light conditions. The rear-mounted image means comprises an operably mountable, wireless device, or alternately a hardwired device along the vehicle rear. Similarly, the display unit is a mountable fixture or hardwired into the vehicle cab.

  • Patent number: 8539566
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for monitoring managed resources by subscribing to broadcast notifications relayed by a Java Management Extensions (JMX) message bridge between JMX managed beans (JMX MBeans) and a client application with user interface (UI) components. In an embodiment, ADOBE™ FLEX™ user UI components subscribe to JMX broadcast notifications. The method generates messages destined for UI components using a JMX broadcaster. JMX MBeans are created in a JMX server and are subscribed to JMX broadcasts. The JMX MBeans are created with filter values identifying destination UI components. A JMX managed object name is passed to the UI during the creation of the UI components. The UI components become consumers of a message topic. A JMX message adapter dedicated to the communication with the JMX MBeans receives JMX broadcast notifications. Messages generated by the JMX broadcaster are relayed to the destination UI components through the JMX MBeans.
