Abstract: There is disclosed system for oxygenating a patient in relation to anaesthesia using high flow gas delivery. The system has a flow source, and a controller for determining oxygenation requirements of the patient before or during anaesthesia. A method of oxygenating a patient in relation to anaesthesia using high flow gas delivery is also disclosed. The method determines oxygenation requirements of the patient before or during anaesthesia.

Abstract: Improved inspection techniques are described herein for checking for the presence of and identifying surface defects on a honeycomb body. The improved inspection utilizes measurement of travel of an outer surface of the honeycomb body to collect images of the outer surface. The images are combined into a composite image showing the outer surface of the honeycomb body. The composite image is analyzed to identify surface defects.

Abstract: Data integrity checks for reducing communication latency is described. A transmitting endpoint transmits data to a receiving endpoint by generating an integrity tag for a first subset of data blocks and a second integrity tag for a second subset of data blocks. In implementations, the first and second integrity tags overlap at least one data block and are offset based on computational complexities of generating the integrity tags. A receiving endpoint generates comparison tags for each of the integrity tags and uses the comparison tags to validate an authenticity of received data. In response to validating the first and second integrity tags, data blocks covered by both the first and second integrity tags are released for use. Additional integrity tags are generated and validated for subsequent subsets of data blocks during data communication, thus reducing latency by offsetting times at which comparison tags are generated and validated.

The chute liner has a base for mounting on the shelf. The base has an operatively upper surface that comes into contact with material passing through the chute and an opposed operatively lower surface. The base has at least one mounting formation that depends from the operatively lower surface of the base that defines a passage which in use is passed through the locking formation aperture in the shelf. The chute liner also has a locking member passed through the passage until it operatively engages the mounting formation to lock the base to the shelf.

Abstract: The technology of the present application provides a flex or flexible tint system for stains. In certain aspects, the system comprises a known volume of an unpigmented stain and a colorant cartridge of containing a known volume of colorant. The colorant cartridge has a movable bottom and a discharge nozzle at the top. The movable bottom is movable along the colorant cartridge to consistently deliver a known discharge volume of colorant to the known volume of unpigmented stain. The colorant and unpigmented stain are mixed to achieve a stain of the desired color consistently.
