The examples may be used in a first entertainment robot, for example, to determine a distance and orientation of another entertainment robot using received infrared signals. The entertainment robot may be controlled by a computing device such as a smartphone or tablet. The entertainment robot may comprise a gaming robot to be used in solo or group gaming activities.
