  • Patent number: 11928526
Abstract: Techniques for standardizing a catalog of data and for using the standardized data to implement various APIs are disclosed. Non-standardized data is received. This data includes information describing items, customer information, and unstructured review data. The non-standardized data is converted to a standardized format, resulting in the generation of standardized data. The standardized data includes a hierarchy of defined categories. Each category is associated with a set of attribute types. The standardized data also includes anonymized profiles. The unstructured review data is also provided structure. A data model is generated based on the standardized data. Various APIs can then use the data model to perform operations.

  • Patent number: 9476363
Abstract: A method for calibrating a fuel control valve assembly including a valve and an actuator is disclosed. The method includes determining an encoder offset by actuating the valve until a predetermined value for the effective flow area is measured to obtain an actual calibration encoder count and comparing the actual calibration encoder count to an initial calibration encoder count. The method also includes adjusting an alignment encoder count and a maximum encoder count by an amount of the encoder offset. The method further includes associating the adjusted alignment encoder count with an alignment command value and the adjusted maximum encoder count with a maximum command value.

  • Patent number: 9068951
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for the colorimetric detection testing of peroxide-based compositions is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a first carrier having an acidic compound in dry form for hydrolysis of peroxide-based compounds and a second carrier having a colorimetric detection reagent composition in dry form. The carriers are positioned with respect to a support member to facilitate transfer of a solution containing a peroxide-based compound hydrolyzed by the acidic compound when activated into contact with the reagent composition of the second carrier for observation of any resulting color indication. The method comprises steps of applying the acidic compound and colorimetric detection reagent composition is liquid forms to the respective carriers and allowing the applied formulations to dry.

  • Patent number: 7914625
Abstract: A sequencing diverter valve system in a washing appliance includes a fluid distribution manifold having a fluid inlet for receiving washing fluid and a plurality of fluid outlets. A fluid responsive rotating drive arm is connected to a drive reduction mechanism which, in turn, is operatively connected to a rotating sequencing valve for shifting the valve through a plurality of discrete positions at a rate of rotation less than the rate of rotation of the drive arm. As it rotates, the sequencing valve sequentially directs the washing fluid to a respective one or more of the plurality of fluid outlets.
