  • Publication number: 20220132753
Abstract: The invention provides an invertebrate pest detention profile for an extruded channel of rigid or flexible material which may be deployed as a partial or open contour, or a closed contour to establish a defensive line or perimeter to prevent crawling pests or invertebrates such as slugs from traversing the line or boundary. The profile provides a moat for offering a liquid or viscous attractant which retains pests by intoxication, or simply provides a shape too complex for them to overcome. The detention profile disclosed herein may be a component fitted to or incorporated within a garden pot, or built up from components of a pot for a garden plant to deny invertebrates or crawling pests access to a plant in the pot. The detention profile also hides the pests from immediate view and hinders access to them by pets or children.

  • Patent number: 11315000
Abstract: At least some embodiments are directed to a dynamic card. The dynamic card transmits a first temporary card identification number to a computing device. The dynamic card is without an internal power source and is powered up by an external power source housed within the computing device. The dynamic card determines an absence of unused encrypted card identification numbers and receives a set of encrypted card identification numbers from a server. The dynamic card decrypts a second temporary card identification number from the encrypted card identification numbers and shows the second temporary card identification number on a display, replacing the first temporary card identification number. The second temporary card identification number remains shown on the display after the power from the external power source is discontinued. The second temporary card identification number can be used in a subsequent interaction with another computing device.

  • Publication number: 20210386137
Abstract: A frame extending from a first end to a second with a curved portion therebetween has a first dual hooking member at the first end and a second dual hooking member at the second end. Each dual hooking member has a strap hook, facing away from their respective ends, and an external hook, facing toward their respective ends. The strap hooks engage selected holes in a resilient elastomeric strap to bias the first end to the second end across a gap therebetween to frictionally hold the frame to a user's forehead. While the frame is frictionally held to the user's forehead, the external hooks extend externally from the strap to engage opposed strings of a face mask on the users face, and, a visor can be releasably secured to the frame in a visor functional position with a see-through area in front of the user's eyes.

  • Patent number: 11188589
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods, computer-readable storage media, and computer systems for associating received medical imaging data with stored medical imaging data. Medical imaging data associated with a patient is received from a client device. The medical imaging data includes an image object, one or more data objects related to the image object, and metadata associated with the patient encoded in Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine (DICOM) format. The metadata includes personal information about the patient, and time and location at which the DICOM image file was captured. The received metadata is compared with existing metadata associated with multiple existing patients to identify a subset of the existing patients who may be a potential match to the patient. Selection of an existing patient from among the subset is requested. When received, the medical imaging data is associated with the existing patient.
