  • Publication number: 20090165696
Abstract: An assembly for retrofitting the hull of a watercraft is presented, which includes an elongated panel which defines a longitudinal channel and at least one console. The console defines at least one chamber extending through the panel and an upper chamber opening and a lower chamber opening. The panel is sized and configured to attach to the hull at an opening in the hull, and to form a seal between the panel and the hull at the hull opening. The console of the assembly is sized and configured to receive a detachably attached propulsion device. Also presented is a watercraft having integral thereto the assembly, and a method for retrofitting a watercraft to provide a location for detachable attachment of a propulsion device such as a trolling motor.

  • Publication number: 20090145346
Abstract: An assembly for retrofitting the hull of a watercraft is presented, which includes an elongated panel which defines a longitudinal channel and at least one chamber housing. The chamber housing defines at least one chamber extending through the panel and an upper chamber opening and a lower chamber opening. The panel is sized and configured to attach to the hull at an opening in the hull, and to form a seal between the panel and the hull at the hull opening. The chamber housing of the assembly is sized and configured to receive a detachably attached propulsion device. Also presented is a watercraft having integral thereto the assembly, and a method for retrofitting a watercraft to provide a location for detachable attachment of a propulsion device such as a trolling motor.

  • Patent number: 4916380
Abstract: A power supply with a pulse width modulation switching mode voltage regulator having an output filter with an attenuation notch at the switching frequency of the pulse width modulator. The output filter comprises an input inductor and a series connected tank circuit with a shunt capacitor. The tank circuit is comprised of a shunt connected L-C circuit tuned to the switching frequency.

  • Patent number: 4874992
Abstract: A raster deflection signal generator that generates deflection signals in accordance with sweep control signals provided by a programmable timing generator. The programmable timing generator stores digital signals representative of the desired sweep control signals so as to tailor the sweep timing to the input video channel. The digital sweep control signals are synchronized to the input video channel by locking a horizontal sync pulse generated by the programmable timimg generator to the horizontal sync pulse of the video input channel by a phase locked loop. Each deflection sweep is compared to a threshold voltage representative of screen center to provide a duty cycle signal in accordance with drift of the TV image from screen center. The duty cycle signal is filtered and sampled and fed back to the sweep generator so as to maintain the deflection sweeps properly centered.

  • Patent number: 4529966
Abstract: A high-speed bipolar logarithmic analog-to-digital (A/D) converter outputs signed binary number proportional to the logarithm of a bipolar analog input signal. A log converter is followed by a level shifting amplifier to center the output of the log converter on a temperature compensating reference. The reference voltage from the temperature compensating reference is used by a linear A/D converter to set the end points of the converter range. A code converter follows the A/D converter if a uniform absolute value coding is desired. Limiting the number of least significant bits (LSB) used to those representing the range of usable converter operation completes the device.
