  • Publication number: 20220224467
Abstract: There is provided methods and apparatuses for wireless communication with phase continuity. According to embodiments, a receiving device (e.g. a base transceiver station (BTS), next generation NodeB (gNodeB or gNB)) sends, to a transmitting device (e.g. user equipment (UE)), a request for transmitting data across multiple slots with phase continuity. The transmitting device transmits to the receiving device the data across multiple slots, wherein the transmitting device maintains phase continuity while the data is transmitted. In some embodiments, the receiving device is provided with capability information indicative of whether the transmitting device supports phase continuity during data transmission. In some embodiments, the receiving device determines if the transmitting device has the capability for supporting phase continuity during data transmission. In some embodiments, the receiving device notifies the transmitting device of time duration that the receiving device expects the phase to be continuous.

  • Patent number: 10669045
Abstract: A system and method of providing an affordable navigation, guidance and control system for arbitrary nano/micro launch vehicles by integrating commercial grade sensors with advanced estimation algorithms in a manner that provides sufficient accuracy of the resulting vehicle state estimates to inject nano/micro satellites into low earth orbits. The system and method uses commercial grade sensors and an advanced sensor-fusion estimator software that estimates and removes the estimated measurement errors and filters noise produced by the commercial grade sensors, resulting in estimated states with suitable accuracy. The filtered data are sent to a guidance and control system where actuator commands are formulated based on the filtered data. A simulated launch and flight of the launch vehicle is performed using the filtered data to validate that the GNC system and launch vehicle are ready for launch.

  • Publication number: 20170060520
Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for providing streaming, dynamically editable social media content, such as songs, music videos, or other such content. Audio may be delivered to a computing device of a user in a multi-track format, or as separate audio files for each track. The computing device may instantiate a plurality of synchronized audio players and simultaneously playback the separate audio files. The user may individually adjust parameters for each audio player, allowing dynamic control over the media content during use.

  • Publication number: 20150066780
Abstract: Among other things, contributors (also called teammates) can form teams to cooperatively create original media using electronic communication with a server. The cooperative creation of the original media occurs as a project and as working sessions within a project, defined within a user interface accessible to each of the contributors of the team. The contributors can communicate through the user interface. Security is provided against access by any other party to the original media and the process of cooperatively creating it.

  • Publication number: 20070193070
Abstract: Footwear with an embedded tracking device includes a sole and an upper. The tracking device is disposed in a cavity formed in the top surface of the sole. A wireless communication antenna and/or a location signal antenna is disposed on the upper. The antenna(s) is/are connected to the tracking device via a flexible circuit substrate. In a particular embodiment, the location signal antenna is a passive, directional GPS antenna supported in an upwardly facing position in the heel portion of the upper. A method for manufacturing footwear with an embedded tracking device is also disclosed. The method includes providing a footwear upper, incorporating an antenna in the footwear upper, providing a footwear sole, fixing the footwear upper to the footwear sole, incorporating a tracking device into the footwear sole, and connecting the tracking device to the antenna.

  • Publication number: 20030050891
Abstract: The present application discloses a system and method for the registration and tracking of items through a database. Using a recognized financial numbering system as a tracking format, bank notes incorporate unique tracking numbers, which are recorded in the database as corresponding to specific items. Ownership of an item and its corresponding tracking number are registered with the database. Possession of a registered item of personal property by its owner or by another party is can also be registered in the database. Change of title to or possession of a registered item can also be recorded in the database, creating chains of title and possession. Lenders can grant loans, lines of credit, etc. using registered items as collateral and register liens against title with the database. A user can also register with the database any bank note that he or she issues. When a bank receives a bank note for payment, the bank accesses the database to check the bank note's registration status.

  • Patent number: 6328222
Abstract: A fuel injector for use in a internal combustion engine is disclosed. The fuel injector includes a body having a discharge end and a longitudinal axis extending therethrough, and an electromagnetic coil located within the body. The fuel injector further includes a fuel metering valve operable between an open position and a closed position and an air metering valve operable between an open position and a closed position. The fuel injector also includes a valve seat located within the body proximate to the discharge end and includes an orifice extending therethrough along the longitudinal axis. A needle is reciprocally mounted along the longitudinal axis between an open position and a closed position. The needle has an upstream end, a downstream end, and a needle channel extending therethrough along the longitudinal axis. The needle engages the valve seat in the closed position. A guide is disposed along the longitudinal axis such that the upstream end of the needle is reciprocable within the guide.

  • Patent number: 5692901
Abstract: The device presented herein is a Disposable Adjustable Flow Prophy Angle (DAFPA) attachment with an integral feed mechanism to expel a predetermined quantity of abrasive medium into a polish cup. During use, the high speed rotation of the drive shaft driving the angled attachment will propel the abrasive medium into the flow channel, via a propellant screw. A sealing ring is incorporated to protect against any backflow of the abrasive medium. A significant feature of the device is the ability to continually adjust the flow of abrasive medium deposited into the polish cup by a calibrated flow adjustment knob, providing the advantage of selecting a predetermined flow rate, to accommodate the needs of the health care professional. The current procedure is more time consuming and less sanitary. In the proposed system the abrasive medium is fed continuously or on demand from an internal reservoir. The invention would apply to both disposable and metallic right angle units.
